Need for Speed Unbound Mercedes-Benz 190 E by A$AP Rocky!

Curtain up for the Need for Speed Unbound Mercedes-Benz 190 E Restomod as a cooperation between NFS (EA Games) and Speedhunters, with a 2,3-liter "Cosworth engine", with a 5-speed manual transmission and with evil green illuminated headlights in the XXL front apron. It belongs to US rapper A$AP Rocky (the cool pictures are from speed Hunters), emerged from a rendering, and shows itself with an aerodynamics that from 190 E 2.5-16 Evo II was acquired. There were also beautiful three-piece billet dromo wheels from Livery Wheels with bespoke Dlng designs -turbofans on the front axle. And as you can see at first glance, the interior hasn't been spared either and now, in addition to countless other details, has RecaroSports Seats, lightweight door panels by Hedgehog Tuning and a 6-pointRoll cage installed. Incidentally, the chassis relies on an Air Lift Performance Airride, specially made for this vehicle.

And then there would be the extremely eye-catching paintwork of the 190. In principle, it is painted in two different colors (black & white by Spike's Vintage Restorations) and also staged with accents in golden yellow. The challenge here was to ensure that both colors are applied evenly and that the division is not frayed or “noticeable” on the bonnet, front apron, roof, tailgate or rear spoiler. And if you think the gold lettering on the side is just a sticker, you're wrong.

It was all hand applied by Simon Clark after painting. While Speedhunters Technical Editor (Ryan Stewart) directed the build and part selection, Rakim Mayers (A$AP Rocky) created the vehicle's style alongside EA and Criterion Games' Vehicle Art Director (Bryn Alban). And in the end, they also ensured that the rear does not have an apron and is also replaced by a tailor-made chassis.

With the rear reduced to “the essentials”, the two end pots are the Sports exhaust system only really visible. Only the installation of the exhaust system and from diffuser lasted two full days. While the core of the vehicle is in the virtual world, this is a real car, designed and built by real people. And finally ... More is not possible - a real NFS Unbound vehicle! By the way: NFS Unbound has been available since December 02.12.2022nd, 69,99 for €5 on Playstation XNUMX, Xbox Series X|S and PC via EA App, Origin, Steam and the Epic Game Store.
