This Mercedes is a real asset in the sporty compact class. The A45S AMG knows exactly how to scare an Audi RS3, a BMW M2 or a VW Golf R. When it debuted, its engine was the most powerful four-cylinder unit on the planet, and it still counts today non-electrified powerplant to the masterpieces of German engineering. The car's compact body makes it a pocket rocket, made for having lots of fun on the highway or the track. We would now like to introduce you to a heavily modified example of the star carrier that is making its rounds in China.
Carbon look ensures astonished looks
The first thing that falls on the wagon is the bonnet with carbon look. For more dynamic handling, the compact Swabian also got a KW Clubsport suspension, which significantly reduces the ground clearance downwards.
There were also Rims installed by Yokohama Advan Racing with the model designation RS-DF, on which Tires of the Michelin brand with the model name Pilot Sport. The car also received a new one Bremsanlage from Alcon, which should ensure even shorter stops from high speeds. In our opinion, the exterior has been modified harmoniously and the wild-looking carbon look goes perfectly with the sporty speedster.

As soon as you get in, the spirit of motorsport wafts through the cockpit. The two Recaro bucket seats, of which the driver's seat is also about Six-point belts underline the track tool ambitions of the AMG. When looking into the rear, it becomes clear to everyone that the car is intended for use on the racetrack and not for driving to the hardware store. the Back seat was in favor of one Roll cage removed, also to increase body rigidity. Last but not least, the standard multifunction steering wheel was exchanged for a detachable one OMP Super Quadro steering wheel exchanged, which is ideally suited for use in motorsport.

The engine, which produces an impressive 381 hp from a displacement of just two liters as standard, has been modified to further increase performance. A new Intercooler, a new aspiration as well as a HDP special tuning program should have significantly increased the performance of the compact. Unfortunately, we don't know anything about the exact performance data. However, the power transmission takes place via a 7-speed AMG Speedshift transmission and on all four wheels.
Our verdict on the A45S AMG:
From our point of view, this is what a real track tool should look like! Congratulations to the Chinese tuning crew who know how to get the most out of an A45 S AMG. We give it a thumbs up for that.
