In addition to the 585 PS - M178 DE 40 AL V8-BiTurbo, as well as the aggressive radiator grille and other changes to the body, it is particularly the luminous special paint in "AMG Green Hell Magno “which distinguishes the top model of the GT series, the GT R. The addition "Green Hell" also says where Mercedes got the inspiration for the name of the paintwork. Of course from the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife, on which the GT R spent a lot of hours of development time. But how do you still know the shrill green? Of course from the "Hulk", who is the title character from the Marvel comics of the same name. That was probably the core idea of the specialists from M&D Exclusive Cardesign who put the AMG GT S shown here on the wheels and gave it the addition of the name. No wonder then that the official name is 'Hulk Edition'. The AMG GT was wrapped in matt 'Lemon Grass Metallic' and, like the “Hulk”, the GT was given a lot of additional muscles.
The optical power cure is conveyed by a Prior Design carbon wide body kit called PD800GT. In addition to massive extensions for the front fenders and the rear side panels, it includes a discreet spoiler sword at the front, new shaped attachments for the apron inlets and a bonnet with air vents. The sporty side line is emphasized by the approaches for the side skirts and the new frames for the air outlets behind the front axle. And something has also happened at the rear, a new rear diffuser has been installed here which gives the GTs an extremely aggressive appearance. Discreet cup wings on the front and rear bumpers round off the body kit in a sporty and massive way. Of course, the rear wing in the style of the GT R is also striking.
Visually, this, like many other accents on the AMG, is set off in gloss black and thus gives a nice contrast to the foiling. There were also black powder-coated Prior Design aluminum rims of the type PD3FORGED that M&D mounted in 9,5 × 20 inches on the front and 12 × 20 inches on the rear axle. The red painted brake calipers of the AMG brake system can be seen through the spokes. 255/30 and 305/25 tires provide the necessary grip and, thanks to the H&R sport spring set, they also sit perfectly in the wheel arch.
