Successful: Mercedes-AMG SL63 (R 232) from the tuner Mansory Design!

After the KEYVANY GmbH team designed the Mercedes-AMG SL (R 232) as K820HP equipped with an extensive carbon body kit, with a new leather interior and with significantly more power, is now pulling Mansory design after. The tuner from Brand in Germany has also taken on the new SL63 and also created an extensive customization program. And the tuning is in no way inferior to that of KEYVANY. The choice of color for the photo vehicle is rather atypical for Mansory this time. Because the SL is black and only has very subtle copper/gold accents. Unlike the last creations (see below in the article) one could almost be tempted to call the Mansory SL as "discreet" to call.

Mansory Mercedes-AMG SL63

What exactly has happened to the SL, which Mansory offers as a P720 and P850 variant, by the way? In the first place, of course, it is bodykit, which draws attention to itself. You can see a significantly modified front apron with optically highlighted air intakes and a front splitter, which appears to be based on the OEM component. A new one joins them radiator grill with Mansory emblem and the bonnet is new. This is equipped with two large air openings in front of the windshield and small openings can also be seen in the front area behind the distinctive edge. And it continues with new gills for the fenders, there were changed mirror caps and they also come from Mansory approaches for the side skirts.

also as a widebody variant

And, of course, the rear has also been taken care of. The rear view is dominated by a massive Heckschürzenansatz in a diffuser look, which now has four round end pieces in combination with one instead of the typical square AMG tailpipes Sports exhaust system contains. The optical changes are rounded off with a new one rear spoiler, with a Mansory emblem on the rear and of course with the chic black wheel set in 22 inch format. Due to a subtle lowering (possibly by means of electronic lowering from air suspension) the Y-spoke aluminum wheel sits perfectly in the wheel housing of the SL. By the way, all body parts are in carbon fiber made.

significantly more power for the SL63 AMG

And as already mentioned, there are also performance increases for the SL from Mansory. At the version P720 is it an in-house power box (Chiptuning) that is used and the version P850 includes changed ones turbocharger.

According to Mansory, the SL with the P850 version should reach country road speeds in 3,2 seconds and run at a maximum of 332 km/h. And last but not least, the interior has also been revised. The photo vehicle shows a white full leather interior in combination with new carbon trim parts and Mansory badges on the seats, the belts and the steering wheel.
