Can you still remember the brutal ones? 680PS Väth C63 AMG recall? The traditional company was one of the very first tuners to present VÄTH Automobiltechnik GmbH a significant increase in performance for the then brand new C63 AMG of the W205 series with M 177 DE 40 AL - V8 BiTurbo. Of course, this engine also has identical performance data in the practical T-model, so it's no wonder that Väth is now also equipping the station wagon with the power injection. While the "normal" version of the V63S tuning kit achieved 609 PS & 810 Nm torque, the RS version, including optimized turbochargers and downpipes, even achieved up to 680 PS.
But the latest power generation even overshadows this performance data. Väth has now presented a C63 AMG T-model to the public that has been tuned to the limit, which enables even more. The V63S tuning kit for the 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8 was also used here, but this time the output rises from 476 hp and 650 Newton meters to an incredible 700 hp and up to 900 Newton meters of torque. With these new key data, the Väth C63s reaches super sports level and with a top speed of 340 km / h even leaves a Ferrari 458 Italia or Lamborghini Huracan behind.
But for the performance cure, of course, not only the engine electronics were adjusted. There were completely new turbochargers, a new downpipe and a special Väth oil cooler for engine and transmission. In the end, this is enough to reach country road speed in 3,3 seconds and beat the series counterparts by almost one second (4,2 seconds). Clearly visible is the difference but in the maximum speed. Instead of the electronically regulated 250 km / h, the Väth C63 goes, as already mentioned, unbelievable 340 km / h. And of course the Stuttgart wants to be slowed down again.
For a perfect delay, there are several improvements in the field of brake system. To do this, Väth uses Stahlflex brake lines or more powerful brake pads. But what would a C63 with V8 be without the right soundscape? The AMG T-model gets a flap exhaust system made of stainless steel which can switch between a pithy sound with V8-bubbler and a moderate soundscape at the touch of a button. The chassis is optimized by lowering by up to 40 millimeters and there are the 20 inches large V2 GT alloy wheels in the 5 double-spoke design optimally fill the wheel well.
Optically, some carbon in the form of a front spoiler and rear diffuser and finished is a nondescript Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.
