Noble off-roader - Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG from Vilner

She is the veteran of the Mercedes-Benz offroad model range, the Mercedes G-Class! It is already produced since 1979 and is probably just about the only Mercedes model that can be recognized right away and that visually everything has only cautiously evolved. That I technically of course has done a lot in the last 40 years or so, is clear. For example, there was the 2005 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG with a 4439ccm V8 supercharger and a significantly upgraded interior. But the Bulgarian tuner Vilner shows us that there is much more with a completely refined G-Class. The vehicle was brought from the United Kingdom to Sofia in Bulgaria in order to endure the modifications. The aim was to bring the interior to the level of the current one Mercedes G650 Maybach Landaulet to bring and already the first picture indicates that this has succeeded.

The seats have been upholstered in cocoa brown-orange leather and the pattern of a chessboard and have one everywhere G integrated for G-Class. This also applies to the door panels, etc. But why the chess board similar design? Because the owner is said to be a big fan of Ritter Sport chocolate, and everyone who knows this delicious treat knows that a Ritter Sport bar is like a chessboard. The rest of the interior is covered with leather in black, which is set off with an orange contrasting seam. Another highlight is the completely covered headliner, which in turn shines in orange Alcantara. The steering wheel has also been completely redesigned and is now even more ergonomic and worlds fancier than its series counterpart. And where there is no room for new leather, everything is painted with glossy black piano lacquer. The dark red belts and, of course, the various Vilner logos set a color accent. If we get more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
