If you bring your car to the Folienwerk-NRW team in Krefeld (Nordrhein-Westfalen) brings the probably rather big plans because the tuner is known among other things by its complete conversions on black series optics. Recently was one Mercedes Benz C coupe of the type W204 finished and also the black foiled Mercedes Benz S-Class W222 It was not really long ago. Both vehicles have received an extensive body kit and both vehicles have been completely foiled. Of course, the yellow W204 stands out much more in the eye than the black glossy foiled S-Class. That it is still quite a number more extreme shows us Folienwerk-NRW with the latest project based on an S-class type W221 (09 / 2005-06 / 2013). Here, too, an all-round body kit in Black Series optics was installed. The new aerodynamic parts consist of a new front bumper with large air intakes, eye-catching side skirts that are integrated into the fat fender flares, a new bonnet with ventilation openings, a rear apron with diffuser and a rear spoiler lip.

The standard radiator grille was also replaced at the same time. The most noticeable change, however, is the multicolored shimmering foiling in Rising Sun Red / Gold which, in conjunction with the glossy black accents, makes the S-Class an absolute eye-catcher. In terms of dynamics and sportiness, the W221 has also been significantly pushed compared to the production model, with a set of 20 inch aluminum rims from G&B Design with rim star in black and polished beds turning in the wheel arches. So that the wheelset is almost flush with the widened fenders, the chassis has been lowered significantly. Last but not least, a 4-pipe stainless steel exhaust system in AMG optics ensures a sportier sound on the Stuttgart luxury sedan. The Folienwerk team released the S-Class today and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures. After the extremely comprehensive and elaborate tuning cure that the W221 was allowed to endure, it is now definitely more eye-catching, much more individual and dynamic than the production version.

Black Series optics & foiling

So if you have been secretly thinking of buying an S-Class for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, Folienwerk is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. And for all those who are not necessarily located in the vicinity of the tuner, the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the tuning partner on site.
