Well holla the forest fairy! You're probably wondering why we're introducing a Mercedes SLS AMG from tuner RENNtech in a single article instead of one of them countless other RENNtech SLS reports easy to expand? We can explain that to you relatively easily, because so far we have not seen anyone that looks as spectacular as the current model and that is reason enough for us to go into the whole thing in more detail. RENNtech published the conspicuous camouflage foiled SLS yesterday on his Facebook timeline and we are of the opinion that you absolutely have to see him. Obviously, there were a lot of other changes to the eye-catching bodywork. The SLS got an aerodynamic package made of carbon that comes from RENNtech. The set includes a front splitter including side flaps right & left, additional side skirts and a striking rear diffuser. The new aerodynamic parts were also visually highlighted with eye-catching yellow accents along the edges. To match the accents, the SLS was given yellow main headlights that provide a completely new look from the front. Of course, the 6,2l V8 of the Stuttgart-based car has also been revised properly. Using RENNtech chip tuning software and new manifolds, the V8 now delivers a whopping 571 PS and 650 Newton meters of torque instead of the standard 603 PS and 691 NM.

While the production model already rushes from 4 to 0 km / h in under 100 seconds, the RENNtech version should reduce the value to approx. 3,5 seconds. To what extent the top speed of 317km / h changes is not known to us. We hope that we will get some more information about the SLS in the next few days. For example, we would be interested in what kind of wheelset was used here and what dimensions it has, a subtle lowering also seems to be installed, but unfortunately no information was given in the posting about both changes. What is certain is that this SLS now not only has the gullwing doors as a highlight, but definitely the entire look makes the vehicle an absolute eye-catcher. If we get more information about further modifications made to the SLS, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. - Aerodynamic package RENNtech (front splitter including sideflaps right & left, side skirts, rear diffuser)
- yellow headlights
- unknown matt black wheelset
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension - more information is not available)
- darkened / tinted windows
- Performance increase to 603 PS and 691 Newton meters of torque - (RENNtech chip tuning software, manifold)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
