Hard to believe but the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG 6.3 V8 (W204) has potential that even puts the successor in the shade. Mcchip-dkr presented yesterday on its website an extensive increase in performance for the Stuttgart-based company that pushes the C6 up to 63 PS & 830 NM torque in 820 different stages. The result is a difference of unbelievable 373 PS & 220 NM which with a price of 93.000 € is anything but cheap. In return, you get a complete conversion that brings the W204 to the level of a super sports car and is sure to cause a lot of surprises on the highway.
“Stage 6 - mc830” includes the following changes. The C63 gets a compressor kit installed that, in combination with a high-end exhaust system (with valve control) including sports catalysts, sports exhaust manifold and of course an in-house chip tuning, brings performance into the new dimension. But so that everything does not fizzle out in smoke, a KW DDC coilover kit and a Drexler differential lock are required and even then by request the tires probably flat in a few kilometers. - Stage 3 = 583 PS - 692 Nm (exhaust manifold, center silencer, rear silencer, volume flaps with radio remote control)
- Stage 4 = 660 PS - 750 Nm (compressor kit, manifold, connecting pipe / cat replacement)
- Stage 5 = 762 PS - 810 Nm (compressor kit, high-end exhaust system including sports catalysts, valve control and sports exhaust manifold, KW DDC coilover kit, Drexler differential lock)
