But life goes on for the AMG fan base, and the first part of the electrification of the model range has already been completed by introducing the AMG 53 hybrid models with six-cylinder petrol and electric support in various series, which were immediately popular with fans found. In addition, the taillights were tinted by 10 percent and the rear spoiler, Mercedes star front and rear, lettering and the Panamericana grill were completely painted in glossy black. Last but not least, the charismatic CLS 53 AMG Hybrid received an Airmatic lowering module that can be controlled and programmed via an app, in order to lower the body significantly. Of course, after the modification, the boys and girls from M&D Exclusive Design also applied for a proper TÜV special acceptance according to §21 / 19.2. Thus, the unusual Mercedes is street legal and can attract everyone's attention in everyday traffic as well as at tuning meetings.

Nothing has been changed on the engine.

The combination of a six-cylinder petrol engine and an electric generator in the CLS 53+ AMG delivers a system output of 457 hp and a massive 770 Newton meters of maximum torque. Equipped in this way, the four-door coupé from Stuttgart sprints to country road speed in a brisk 4,5 seconds. This means that the electrified six-cylinder is as fast as its V8 brothers, which, however, sound much more exciting, bassier and more sonorous.

Dream car for well-heeled AMG fans

A current CLS 53+ AMG is still very new on the market, which is why there are hardly any used vehicles that can be purchased relatively cheaply.
