The elegant Mercedes E-Class Coupé and the E-Class Cabriolet of the 238 series are still an absolute exotic in the tuning scene. The official successor to the C 207 was introduced on December 14, 2016 and has been on the market as a Coupé since April 2017 available. The E-Class Cabriolet (A 238) was presented a little later at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 and has been available since September 2017. The factory 333 PS & 480 NM strong V6 petrol engine (M 276 DEH 30 LA) received an increase in performance to 410 PS & 577 NM using chip tuning software and thus approximates the AMG E 53 4MATIC +. In terms of torque, this is even exceeded by 57 NM. And compared to the E 53, the background noise of the mariani E 400 is much more aggressive. The reason is the modified exhaust system with original E63 AMG tailpipes and soundscape, which you can hear in the video below. Incidentally, all changes are also available for the technically identical Cabriolet.
