Now he is finished! You remember? Only a month after Jon Olsson's strong 780 horsepower Mercedes-Benz G500 4 × 4² you presented in one Seen video that the limited "G" was pretty radically stripped of its roof. That was almost nine months ago and we had already written off the project a little bit. But now Olsson comes back with a bang! The Mercedes-Benz G500 4 × 4² Cabriolet is now actually a reality and apparently finished. "Lord Hans the G" is an 800-PS strong G500 4 × 4² unique piece that even has one chopped Windscreen has and therefore probably the craziest Beach Cruiser ever.

After the G-Class was prepared by Olsson for various excursions into the wild, that's it almost everything is now openly possible and makes the G500 one of the craziest and somehow most pointless projects based on a € 250.000 car that we have ever seen. Basically, nothing more has changed in terms of the outside appearance than was the case in November of last year. There are still the additional headlights, the foiling and the huge slippers from the big 6 × 6 brother on the G and only the luggage rack (+ spare tires, etc.) including the roof and the B and C pillars has disappeared.
The windshield has been shortened by approx. 1/3 and both the frame of the windshield cladding and the cladding of the trunk and the 4 doors are now made of fine teak. The ultimate beach cruiser is born. This also means that you can now enjoy the acoustically unadorned V8 engine. As is well known, the engine got a new turbocharger, a modified cooling system and a powerful Akrapovic sports exhaust system and sends an impressive 800 hp to all four wheels. And last but not least, of course, the befitting camouflage full wrap (Urban camo design) as it has somehow become mandatory in projects by Olsson.
normal G vs. Olsson G-Cabriolet
Incidentally, the upwardly relocated intake is no longer available because due to the missing roof, a wild test drive in the water, as for the presentation at the time, should be rather difficult. In general, water is a very bad idea because Olsson doesn't even have a cloth cap for “Lord Hans”. If we receive further details about changes that we have not mentioned shortly, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. Unique: Mercedes G500 4 × 4² Cabriolet
Update
News from 16.08.2018
Typical Jon Olsson! The Mercedes G 500 4 × 4² in beach cruiser style should go again. The vehicle is currently for sale for an insane € 699.000 at the Spanish car dealer "Cohen and Cunild" and since the ad is currently unavailable, we assume that it may even be gone. So as with the Abbot Audi RS 6 "Phoenix"his Lamborghini Huracán or the crazy Rolls-Royce Wraith "George the Rolls“It happened pretty quickly with the G500 4 × 4² convertible.
Maybe there will soon be an update with information and pictures. If this is the case we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.
