You have already told us that POSAIDON GmbH & Co KG likes to overdo it with one 1.090 PS E-Class, One 700 PS C63 AMG or even an inconspicuous one 830 PS - G63 AMG shown. The latter shoots to 4,2 km / h in just 100 seconds and is allowed to run an incredible 265 km / h. Please note that over 2,5 tons are balanced forward with the CW value of a wall unit! But whoever thinks it was that is very wrong. Would you like a few key data? 0 to 100 km / h in just 3,6 seconds and a maximum of 285 km / h! Hi???? This is faster than an M4 GTS, an RS3, a Jaguar F-Type R, a Wiesmann GT MF5, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0, and even an 2009 Nissan GT-R is not faster on highway speed.
And then there is the top speed of an incredible, electronically limited, 285 km / h. Here, too, there are enough potent coupes, convertibles and thoroughbred sports cars that cannot keep up. Typical values of a potent athlete, actually. Actually… But here comes an off-road block that weighs around 2,6 tons and has remained visually unchanged for almost 38 years. But how does Posaidon achieve the power increase from 571 PS & 760 Nm to 850 PS and (electronically limited) 1.350 Nm? The solution to the riddle is in-house upgrade turbochargers, modifications to the charge air cooling and intake, a stainless steel sports exhaust system with valve control including motorsport catalysts and, of course, in-house chip tuning.
Crazy how much power can be got out of the M157-V8. Of course, with so much power, the AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic does not remain untouched. A reinforcement of the hardware and a software upgrade are inevitable and so the transmission is now perfectly prepared for the biturbo power. And the footwear is also adapted to the performance in order to keep the G on the intended trajectory, especially at high speeds. Adjustable and adaptive dampers and a wheel / tire combination in the 10,5 × 22 inch format are installed in three stages.
The new rims are equipped with high-performance tires in the dimensions 285/40 R22 that allow the G63 to stick to the asphalt. Visually, the new wheel set also looks very chic because the black Y-spokes of the light-alloy rims harmonize perfectly with the bright AMG special paint "Solarbeam". If you look closely you can also see golden brake calipers which clearly show that nothing is series here either. The XXL system that was installed here comes from the S63 AMG and not only has 420 millimeter ceramic brake discs at the front, but also a 6-piston system. At the rear, however, there are 4-piston and 360mm brake discs.
The interior of the "Crazy Color" special edition model is unchanged because the luxurious leather interior with the yellow contrasting topstitching and the chic carbon trim are exclusive enough. Only an in-house speed camera update was integrated into the Comand online system and, considering the power, this is also appropriate.
