If you are looking for modifications for the Mercedes-Benz GLC, no matter if X253 (GLC SUV) or C253 (GLC Coupé), you will find a lot of performance increases, but really extensive changes for the optics are not really in stock. Sure - Brabus conjures up on request few nice details to the body and also tuner Väth has a few Accessories in stock. But the accessories don't really look visually “different”. But that is changing now. The Japanese tuner Forest International has now developed a complete body kit for the GLC as an SUV variant (X235) under the already well-known designation Black bison to help GLC become more autonomous.

And visually, the components are quite successful. At the front, there is a very eye-catching front spoiler that nestles around the factory-fitted AMG bumper and stands out in particular because of the vertical lines in the middle. The parts list also includes side skirts which, however, we can not recognize on the presentation vehicle. Very striking is also the rear apron approach of including diffuser optics and central rear fog light to convince white. As with the production vehicle, the exhaust system on the right and left side is also integrated in the attachment from Wald International.

In addition, there is a new roof spoiler and a so-called rear gate spoiler. This sits as a small lip on the roof spoiler but here we can not really make a difference to the series. Eventually we will receive more pictures in real time which explain and show us the side skirts as well as the roof spoiler. And also information about the 2 wheelsets (herepossibly a licensed building by BBS) as well as the modified brake system with perforated / slotted brake discs and red painted brake calipers would be quite interesting. If we get more details and information, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. These are the changes to the Mercedes GLC SUV:

  • Wald International Black Bison Bodykit (front spoiler, side skirts, rear apron neck, roof spoiler, spoiler lip)
  • Presentation vehicle with 2 different wheelsets (estimated 20-21 inches, dark gray, possibly licensed by BBS)
  • possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
