Balanced proportions and many exclusive details

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class expresses the typical brand experience of sophisticated luxury. Sublime beauty and pioneering technology are ingeniously combined. The vehicle is 18 centimeters longer than the long Mercedes-Benz S-Class. There are also exclusive details. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is a classic three-box sedan with perfect proportions. These are determined by the short overhang at the front, the longest wheelbase in the model family as well as a balanced overhang at the rear and large wheels.

Special features of the front are the independent bonnet with a chrome fin and the specific Mercedes-Maybach radiator grille. Its high recognition value lies in the vertical, three-dimensional decorative bars. The MAYBACH word mark is elegantly integrated into the chrome frame of the grill. The bumper, which is also independent, creates even more emphasis on the width thanks to the special design of the air inlets - the black grilles of which are optionally available in a chrome finish.

The side view of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class also differs from its model brothers: rear doors and the flowing, more upright C-pillars underline the outstanding status claim. The fixed window in the C-pillar is literally framed by a high-quality molded part that seamlessly merges into the side trim. A Maybach brand logo on the C-pillar emphasizes the exclusivity. In some countries the brand symbol is illuminated. Flush door handles and specially designed wheels reserved for this model (19, 20 and 21 inch format) are features of the side view. The standard ambient lighting in the exterior mirrors projects the brand logo in LED technology next to the front doors.

The luxury sedan has the progressive, two-part rear lights of the new S-Class generation. Additional lighting in the precisely designed interior as well as partly animated functions make the Mercedes-Maybach unmistakable even at night. The specific rear bumper with special tailpipe trims also creates uniqueness from the rear.

In addition to plain, metallic and designo paintwork, the paint compartment of the Mercedes-Maybach also includes two-tone paintwork with a filigree dividing line, the so-called pin stripe (see “Under the magnifying glass”). This is how the extraordinary manufactory character comes into its own.
