That had to come so! If TopCar, Brabus, ART tuning & Co. completely rebuild the coupe-like GLE C292 SUV from Mercedes then Prior Design cannot just watch and leave the field to the people. Fortunately, you can only say because LIVE from the Motor Show in ESSEN Prior Design just posted a Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe with PDG800X (PD800GC) Widebody Aerodynamic kit and huge PD3 Forged Wheels alloy wheels in black. What we can see on the video gives the impression that the body kit is at least equal to that of TopCar. Again, it is likely to be a material made of fiberglass Dura-Flex that gives the GLE a new front bumper with additional ventilation openings, widened front fenders, massive wheel arch extensions at the rear, and a set of beefy side skirts.

In addition, there is a new bonnet with power dome and air openings as well as a new rear bumper with diffuser and a large PD emblem in the grille. A discreet tailgate spoiler was also installed on the GLE SUV. The GLE was foiled all around in matt white and carries a black PD22 Forged Wheels wheelset that is at least 3 inches tall and has apparently been lowered a few millimeters. The following video shows you a first impression of the vehicle and we hope that there will be the first photos soon. If we get more information, pictures or videos, there will of course, as always, be an update for this post. These are the changes to the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe:
- Prior Design PDG800X widebody aerodynamic kit (fiberglass Dura-Flex material, new front bumper with additional vents, widened front fenders, massive rear wheel arch extensions, side skirts, hood with power dome and air vents, new rear bumper with diffuser, PD emblem in grille, tailgate spoiler)
- PD3 Forged Wheels alloy wheels (about 22-23 inch, black)
- matt white wrapping all around
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
