Mercedes homage "Renovatio SL" at the AMTS in Budapest!

Automobile and tuning shows fell victim to the strict pandemic laws at the height of the corona crisis. Gradually, however, they are held again, and the vehicle-loving public will appreciate that. Some time ago, in the shadow of the IAA Mobility in Munich, the AMTS in Budapest instead, which was not about the future of the automobile, but instead focused on vehicles from bygone times. So stand in Budapest among other things Classic cars and replicas classic automobiles are very popular.

Renovatio SL steals the show from everyone

We got you some time ago the Renovatio SL Mercedes-Benzwho is on a First generation Mercedes SLK based, presented. The vehicle was now at the AMTS in Budapest (August 27 to Sunday, August 29, 2021) to see. And they wanted to show the visitors to the Hungarian capital something new, which is why they decided to give the vehicle new rims in baroque style to spend. These are handmade and high gloss compressed, and are 17 inches in diameter. The Renovatio SL was by no means the only highlight of the show, which is so diverse that it delights young and old.

Not only the 300SL was one of the highlights!

The auto show was a three-day vehicle fair that appealed to every automobile fan, regardless of whether they are fans of classic automobiles or just tuning fans. Vehicles from all epochs of automotive engineering were presented at the exhibition in four halls and an outdoor area. Among them was the one Renovation SL, the many visitors to the fair through the motor magazine "Grip" and was already a household name thanks to our reporting from the spring of this year. The unique piece attracted the masses and in the end left not only amazed, but also many enthusiastic faces.

Renovation could get a coveted prize!

The extremely positive response of the audience with regard to the new rims was surprising and it even succeeded in achieving the one coveted in the tuning scene worldwide Crystal Awards of Excellence up for grabs by the LA Custom Legend John D'Agostino was presented. So the little "Ray of light from the darkness"- because renovatio means "resurrection" - named the best and most spectacular tuning vehicle at the automobile fair.

For the crew of the Renovatio SL, the event was a direct hit in every respect, but the audience also got to see the finest vehicles and events that have not been seen for a long time due to the pandemic.
