DTE Systems has the new Mercedes-Benz S 450 EQ Boost (W222) S-Class pre-buttoned. Of the M 256 E30 DEH LA G (R) 3,0-liter straight-six is known to have been the new basic engine of the S-Class with 2018 hp thanks to the mild hybrid system since 389. The gasoline engine has 367 hp and 22 hp from an electric motor. The electric drive comes in conjunction with a 48-volt electrical system and enables the S-Class to partially “sail”. This means that unused drive and braking energy is stored and made available for later use in the form of an e-boost. But whether the few PS and NM make themselves felt in an S-Class? In contrast, the increase in performance from DTE-Systems is clearly noticeable.

They have the PowerControl RX module (with PowerControl smartphone app and Bluetooth interface) made suitable for the Stuttgart luxury liner and give the W222 an additional 40 PS & 53 NM. Various programs such as "Sport", "Dynamic" and "Efficiency" can be conveniently selected using a smartphone. The result is now 429 PS & 573 NM in boost mode. The well-known PedalBox (+) can also be ordered for the S-Class. With this, the characteristic curve of the accelerator pedal can be adjusted, which leads to a significant improvement in the response of the accelerator pedal if desired.
