It could always be worse! Mercedes S600L (W220) S-Class!

Is that the ugliest Mercedes-Benz S600L (W220) S-Class ever? We don't know, but the former luxury liner has damn good cards to take the title. The S500 has only run 23.200 km, but nobody seems to want to buy it! The S600L shows that if you have a lot of money, you don't necessarily have to have good taste. The W600 generation S220 was the ultimate dream car for many when it was released in 1998. With a powerful 5,8 liter V12 engine under the hood, it was the embodiment of powerful performance combined with the highest level of luxury. But when catastrophic kitsch encroaches on luxury, the result is inevitably a car that only its owner can like.

Gold, gold and more gold

And the owner of this S-Class W220 apparently wanted everyone to know that they have a penchant for gold. Because all elements that actually shine in chrome are now gold-plated! This applies to the frames of the headlights at the front and rear, for the radiator grille, the strips on the doors and even for the elements around the fog lights and the Mercedes star. Everything is gold plated! They didn't even stop at the tailpipes of the exhaust system. Fortunately, the interior is less marred by the golden opulence. There are a few details here and there (corners of the dashboard, steering wheel, etc.) but the light-colored leather conceals this successfully. However, if you take a closer look at the seats, it is questionable whether a zero was not forgotten about the 23.200 km.

23.200 or 232.000 kilometers?

Because the renowned company KLASSEN® automobiles but is known for its seriousness, the problem can also simply be with the unclean lifestyle of the previous owner. However, all the properties together seem to contribute to the fact that the 17.000 euro S-Class is a slow seller. We know of course that "Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder". However, we have examined the vehicle extensively and have come to the conclusion that it definitely belongs in our tuning fail category because WE do not consider it beautiful. What is your opinion about this? Beautiful or not so beautiful? Please leave a comment here!
