Mercedes Vito VanTourer Urban & Fiat models from EuroCaravaning!

This week the Caravan Salon starts in Düsseldorf (4. to 13. September 2020) and the manufacturer EuroCaravaning will present the innovations on the Fiat 540 D, 600 D, 600 L and 630 L panel van models based on Fiat. For example, there is now an optional pop-up roof with a standard skylight and there is also a new bathroom concept for improved use of space. The four Fiat-based models are available as 540 D (5,41 meters long), as 600 D (5,99 meters long, with a transverse bed in the rear), and as 600 L (5,99 meters long, including longitudinal single beds to fold up) and as 630 L (6,30 meters long, including twin beds in the rear) at prices from 43.790 euros for the VanTourer 540 D. The vehicles can be upgraded with the equipment options Chassis Package Plus, Comfort Package or the Prime version.

And for the first time, a compact class mobile home will also be presented. The brand new VanTourer Urban based on the Mercedes Vito. He is a 5,13 meter short Camping bus, which is available in three variants. As a Base with 102 PS and as a Comfort and as a Prime with 136, 176 & 239 PS. There is always a large pop-up roof and a full-size additional bed (1,91 x 1,07 meters) is positioned on the upper floor. All models even have a fully-fledged kitchen and in the Comfort and Prime it can even be removed through a second sliding door on the driver's side. This means that it can be used outside the vehicle. The electrical devices are operated externally via a power connection and there is also an additional gas and water connection. And the Vito has a bench from the German manufacturer Aguti with it, which can be converted into a sofa bed by folding down the back.

The prices for the Urban Base start from 49.900 euros and it is even optionally available with all-wheel drive. One of the highlights is the “Variobad”. It is available as standard in all layouts and the shower head can even be led outside through the integrated bathroom window. Then you have a fully-fledged outdoor shower and campers can even set up a shower area in the aisle in addition to the permanently installed bathroom. The VanTourer models also have solid furniture and a lot of cargo space. The pop-up roof is a stable construction with built-in LFI technology (Long Fiber Injection) and a roof hatch, which provides plenty of light in the interior even when the roof is closed. On request, all models can be equipped with a lifting bed. A compressor refrigerator, a diesel heater (Truma Combi 6), a permanently installed and heated 100-liter fresh water tank and there is also a 3 kg gas bottle crate come as standard.
