Limited Monster - Mercedes X-Class Exy OFF-ROAD

Now it's going to be huge! After last week the Mercedes X-Class Exy Urban (W470) as road variant presented in a limited edition of 999 pieces now comes the next floor. The Carlex Design subsidiary Pickup-Design.com presents the Mercedes X-Class Exy OFF-ROAD which, as the name suggests, is designed especially for off-road use. The X-Class Exy OFF-ROAD looks a lot bigger and of course that's largely due to the huge off-road tires and black rims. But also the body kit is extended again and comes in front with a much more massive underrun protection and of course the powerful fender flares all around.

In contrast to the body kit of the Exy Urban variant are the widenings on the off-road model but still supplemented by an additional small lip because only so it is possible to cover the off-road tires at all. Other changes include a power dome top for the bonnet and a LED light bar including roof trim. And also on the chassis, something has been done here because it provides by means of Höherlegung for improved off-road capability and in combination with the new wheel, the X-Class thus has the format of a Dodge Ram. In addition, the body is still in the chic army green painted and equipped with various design details at the rear. This makes the body kit stand out very well and so a little bit this vehicle could easily play at the next Jurassic Park movie as we find.

And changes are of course also in the interior. The presentation vehicle got a black leather interior including EXY lettering which is of course built in the usual perfection. The interior is not quite as extensive refined as that of the Exy Urban and of course that has its reason. On the one hand, neither the Recaro sports seats would be a suitable equipment for an off-road vehicle and on the other hand, a bright luxury interior would somehow not fit considering that in this cabin, but maybe one or the other dirt splashes. But there is no lack of luxury here because for example the door panels or the complete rear seat and the steering wheel are also completely individualized. Covered with high-quality leather, you also have the complete dashboard.

Due to the black color, this only becomes apparent at second glance and the beautiful carbon inlay with Carlex Design lettering as the dashboard does not immediately catch the eye. There is much more to say due to the little information we have at the moment so we leave it with the pictures. If we get further details about the Mercedes X-Class Exy OFF-ROAD, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. Update

News from 15.05.2018

As mentioned above, we have discovered a copy as Exy OFF-ROAD. Carlex Design shows this Mercedes X-Class in chic blue and with a slightly less massive wheelset. The rest seems almost identical to the vehicle above. Have fun with the pictures!

and another copy: this time with hardtop & winch on the loading area

and now one in red / black with carbon hood protection

even in the bright yellow quite worth considering
