After the team from Mil-Spec Automotive has regularly presented us with the most varied of their Restomod Hummer H1 presented surprisingly a first came in April of this year tuned Ford F-150 pickup from the team from Birmingham (USA) on stage. And it was shown with an extensive aerodynamics package, many changes to the chassis and an increase in performance to a whopping 500 hp. But now another copy has been completed that is once again a number bigger and is to be produced in a small series. It is more powerful, especially in terms of the body and especially due to the powerful V8 engine under the hood.

V8 power with almost 700 hp

And the completely individualized and powerful version of the US bestseller is unparalleled. A vehicle that, like the H1, is to be created in a limited edition and is extreme in every respect. The newly installed five-liter V8 in the bow was supercharged and thus gained a whopping 684 hp and now has a maximum torque of 840 Nm available. In addition to the compressor, a new throttle body, improved intake, new fuel lines including injection nozzles, a huge charge air cooler and of course special chip tuning software ensure the impressive output. And acoustically, the engine is set in scene with an in-house exhaust system from the catalytic converter. Incidentally, the engine achieves the specified key data with 93-octane fuel. So there should definitely be more. And another highlight of the conversion is the so-called Baja Performance Suspension Package.

37 inch (0,94 m) off-road tires on the F-150

It includes, for example, the high-quality Fox Racing shock absorbers with up to 305 millimeters of travel and of course the huge wheel set is also worth mentioning. As on the F-150 linked at the beginning, robust Mil-Spec 20-inchers with coarse-tread Nitto off-road tires are installed. It fills the wheel arches in the dimensions 37 × 13,50 R20. However, the new wheelset only fits because of the significantly changed body. The wheel arches are strongly exhibited all around, because the Mil-Spec F-150 is almost 18 centimeters wider than a current F-150 Raptor! In addition, the vehicle received special bumpers (front with additional headlights, bumper bars, Underrun protection) and on the roof there are even 8 more LED main headlights, which are installed directly on the massive luggage rack roof structure.

the cabin has also been redesigned

There are still one in the rear Roll bar and a full-fledged spare wheel installed and the new rear apron mentioned has a robust device for pulling various trailers. And last but not least, the interior is also individualized. There was a new leather interior, various Mil-Spec badges and a steering wheel with magnesium paddles. The changes are impressively rounded off with many small details such as the new radiator grille with the emblem of the tuner, the darkened windows or the gloomy main headlights. If we receive information on further changes not mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report, as always.
