Munich. With classic sportiness, refreshingly open and with a particularly extravagant appearance, the MINI Cooper S Cabrio presents itself in the Resolute Edition just in time for the coming spring season. The exclusive and precisely coordinated design and equipment features of the edition model set fresh accents for individual style and maximum outdoor driving fun. The MINI Cooper S Convertible in the Resolute Edition has been in dealerships for the first time since March 2022, only to then conquer the boulevards and country roads. The open four-seater from the British premium brand is currently the world's only premium convertible in the small car segment.
Cooper S Convertible Resolute Edition
Its appearance is exclusive and unmistakable in the Resolute Edition. The exterior paintwork, light-alloy wheels, interior design and equipment characterize the edition model as an ambassador for traditional style and open-air driving fun that is typical of MINI. The powerful drive technology of the MINI Cooper S Convertible in the Resolute Edition ensures particularly spirited encounters with wind and sunshine. Its 2,0-litre, 131 kW/178 hp four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 7,2 seconds. The MINI Cooper S Convertible in the Resolute Edition embodies classic go-kart feeling in its most modern form. In keeping with this, the exterior design of the edition model quotes brand-typical design features in a completely new form. The body paint finish in the Rebel Green variant is characterized by puristic sportiness.
On the other hand, numerous traditional design features are not kept in the original chrome finish, but in the exclusive color Resolute Bronze. This applies to the surrounds of the headlights, the radiator grille and the rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side walls, the handles on the doors and tailgate, as well as the air intakes in the front apron and the fuel filler cap. They are combined with brand logos and model lettering, an inner frame and a cross brace in the radiator grille and the tailpipe trims of the exhaust system in piano black. The electrically operated soft top, whose soft top mechanism can also be activated while driving at speeds of up to 30 km/h, and the exterior mirror caps of the edition model are black. Only the all-round trim strip at waistline level is also designed as a classic chrome element in the Resolute Edition of the MINI Cooper S Convertible.
edition-specific hood stripes
The sporty character of the open four-seater is additionally emphasized by the edition-specific bonnet stripes. They have a pattern of parallel lines with a color gradient between a light and a dark gold tone and the writing "RESOLUTE". The striking appearance of the edition model is rounded off by 18-inch light-alloy wheels in Pulse Spoke Black design. 17-inch light-alloy wheels in Tentacle Spoke Black are also available as an option. The way into the interior of the edition model leads via door sills that bear the lettering "RESOLUTE". There, the occupants sit on sports seats in the exclusive Black Pearl Light Checkered fabric/leatherette version. The color scheme of the seat surfaces harmonises perfectly with the exterior paintwork in Rebel Green and with the black and gold-colored design features of the exterior. The MINI Yours Leather Lounge variant is also available in Carbon Black on request.
Resolute Edition interior surfaces
The interior surfaces specially designed for the Resolute Edition also contribute to the exclusive style in the interior. Parallel and evenly curved lines in a light gold tone form an elegant pinstripe pattern on its black background. At the same time, they pick up on the structure of the bonnet stripes. The specific design features are atmospherically staged with the help of the lighting package, whose LED units ensure targeted illumination of the interior, and with the ambient light, which is also part of the equipment of the edition vehicles. Another highlight in the interior of the MINI Cooper S Convertible in the Resolute Edition is the nappa leather sports steering wheel. It bears a subtle "RESOLUTE" emblem in the lower area of the steering wheel spoke. The latest generation of the MINI operating system optimizes the possibilities for quick and intuitive control of vehicle functions, audio program, communication, navigation and apps. Furthermore, with the newly compiled equipment packages, individual wishes in the areas of driver assistance and connectivity can be met in a particularly targeted manner.
