The exclusive design and equipment features of the Resolute Edition particularly emphasize the characteristic features of the MINI 3 door – expressive design, inspiring driving pleasure, premium quality and individual style. With immediate effect, the new Enigmatic Black color with its mysterious aura underlines the self-confident appearance of the MINI Cooper S in the Resolute Edition. The 3-door from MINI is the original in the premium segment of small cars. The classic body concept of the MINI Cooper S emphasizes the Resolute Edition with a clear commitment to the historical roots of the brand. Typical MINI design features, such as the surrounds for the headlights, rear lights and radiator grille, as well as the bonnet stripes specific to the edition, are finished in Resolute Bronze and bear the “RESOLUTE” lettering. The roof and the mirror caps are available in either black or enigmatic black or can create an exciting contrast in pepper white.

The stylishly designed bonnet conceals the 2,0 liter four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology and a peak output of 131 kW/178 hp with a maximum torque of 280 Nm. Equipped in this way, the energetic MINI Cooper S in the Resolute Edition stands for traditional sportiness and sprints from 6,8 to 0 km/h in 100 seconds. The top speed is reached at 235 km/h. The vehicle's agile handling supports a 6-speed manual transmission as standard or an optional 7-speed Steptronic transmission with dual clutch.

High-quality and authentic special equipment

In the interior, the anthracite-colored headliner corresponds with the mysteriously dark charm of the bodywork finish. Matching sports seats in the exclusive fabric/leatherette design Black Pearl/Light Checkered in combination with black armrests and knee rolls provide stylish comfort. The Nappa sports leather steering wheel with edition emblem on the lower spoke is part of the standard equipment of the Resolute Edition, as are the specific surfaces in the interior. On its black background, parallel and evenly curved lines in a light gold tone form an original pattern with a special charisma. The design features of the edition are atmospherically staged with the help of the lighting package, whose LED units ensure targeted illumination of the interior.

But also with the ambient light, which includes, among other things, a laser-engraved ring for the central instrument, light piping in the doors and in the cockpit area, as well as illuminated door handles and door entry areas. From November 2022, the cockpit of the MINI Cooper S Resolute Edition will also include the MINI Driving Assistant as standard. With additional features such as active cruise control (ACC), the driver assistance system increases safety and driving comfort in equal measure. The MINI Driving Modes are also part of the range of equipment for the MINI Cooper S 3 door in the Resolute Edition. A decidedly sporty characteristic for the drive and chassis systems of the vehicle can be activated with a toggle switch.
