This electric Mini Cooper SE with 184 hp will soon go on a five-week charity tour and be wrapped in 2.000 LEDs. The aim is to raise money for the three charities MS Trust, Duchenne UK and Alzheimer's Society to collect. Sitting behind the wheel Nicholas (Nico for short) Martinwho came up with the idea and initially built the vehicle on November 25th in The Lexicon Bracknell in Berkshire. Then it's off to various locations in the UK. By the way, the project has already started over three years agowhen Martin wrapped his MINI in fairy lights and exhibited it in his hometown of Bracknell. Last year at Christmas time, he got the idea with the "Festive MINI" To get the city's residents in the Christmas spirit and to collect donations at the same time. Together came over 5.000 pounds (approx. 6.000 euros) for MS Trust and Duchenne UK.

David George, Director of MINI UK said: "We are honored to be part of Nico's fundraising project with the Festive MINI Electric. It's a nice idea that brings people together, makes them smile and also raises funds for charities". Nico said: "The MINI Electric is now even more exciting to drive and remains environmentally friendly throughout the tour. The Twinkly LEDs enable beautiful animations that give the car a certain magic. I can't wait to get out on the streets to spread some festive MINI spirit and raise money for the three charities".
