Subtle lift: MINI facelift with tuning by AC Schnitzer

More power, more looks, more sound and, above all, more fun -> traditional tuners AC Schnitzer takes on the Mini Facelift model range and gives the F55, F56, F57 LCI a lot of individuality. Let's start with the increase in performance, which ensures that 173 kW / 235 PS and 350 Nm pull on the front wheels on request. The tuner achieves the increase in performance using its own tuning accessory box and a modified intercooler. The orange painted Mini John Cooper Works Convertible (F57 LCI) impresses visually with a subtle front splitter, a decor set on the sides and the one known from other vehicles BiColor AC1 Wheelset.

The exact dimensions of the alloy wheels are all around 7,5 x 19 inches and equipped is the wheel with tires in the format 215 / 35 R19. To ensure that the new rims sit perfectly in the wheel arch and feed in the compactness for more sportiness, Schnitzer on request also builds in-house lowering springs which ensure a lowering of the body by approx. 25-30mm. In addition, when looking at the rear, the rear silencer system immediately falls onto the carbon-fiber tailpipe trims (optional chrome or black anodized) is perfectly integrated in the diffuser.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
