The new top athlete for the premium compact segment occupies the top spot in the model range of the British premium brand MINI in both disciplines. It offers unbridled power and plenty of space for a pure race feeling in everyday traffic. In addition, there is now a precise finishing touch to the expressive exterior and fresh accents for the high-quality interior. The market launch of the new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman begins in November 2020. With four doors and a large tailgate, five full seats, a variable interior and a luggage compartment volume that can be expanded to 1 390 liters, the new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman can do more than just that master daily transport tasks in city traffic, but also meet the comfort requirements on longer distances. The most powerful engine ever used in a standard MINI, the intelligently controlled all-wheel drive and the differential lock for the front wheels integrated in the 8-speed Steptronic transmission ensure superior performance at all times.

The drive unit, which is equipped with specific modifications to the basic engine, a further developed MINI TwinPower Turbo technology and an independent cooling system, impresses not only with its maximum output of 225 kW / 306 hp, but also with its maximum torque of 450 Nm. The engine's spontaneous power delivery, which continues up to high load ranges, enables the new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman to accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 5,1 seconds (provisional value). It is visually noticeable with tailpipe trims, the diameter of which has been increased to 95 millimeters.

In addition to the model-specific modified components, the suspension also features a tuning of suspension and damping refined with racing know-how, DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) driving stability control and electromechanical steering. The new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman can be optionally equipped with an adaptive chassis. Standard equipment includes a sports brake system with four-piston fixed-caliper disc brakes on the front, single-piston floating-caliper disc brakes on the rear wheels and chilli-red painted brake calipers, as well as 18-inch John Cooper Works alloy wheels.

The powerful look of the new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman is now emphasized even more with the redesign of the radiator grille. The standard LED headlights and the rear lights have a new design. The high-quality lighting technology is now even more clearly recognizable at the front, while the Union Jack design lighting at the rear becomes an irresistible eye-catcher. Adaptive LED headlights with variable light distribution and matrix function for the high beam are available as options. Also new are the exterior colors White Silver metallic and Sage Green metallic as well as the Piano Black exterior option.
