Mitsuoka Rock Star 2.0 LHD Only1 Special

In 2018 we have reported about it for the first time, that the Mitsuoka Motor Co. Ltd. (automakers & Tuner) transforms a Mazda MX-5 into a Chevrolet Corvette C2 on request. Well, at least she gives the little Japanese a few Style elements the C2. Because the conversion looks like a real C2 in the end - in our opinion – not really off! In the year 2021 was then exact 200 vehicles built also directly end with the conversions. And the end sealed one special Edition. And there was exactly one vehicle from this edition LHD. And you can see that in these pictures. The unique "Rock Star" is of course also based on a Miata (Mazda MX-5) and is specifically from the Canadian market. The vehicle is in Passion Blood Red painted in combination with a black soft top.

These are joined by the well-known chromed ones purse (front with LED lenses) and the Stainless steel trims along the bottom edge on the sides for the ultimate '60s feel. In addition, the roadster was given a chrome finish 15 inch rims with Retro Torq Thrust look (Five spoke look) as well as with BFGoodrich tires velvet white Lettering. And of course the new bonnet with the big ones air openings to see.

The flat rear also has four chic round tail lights receive. The changes in the interior are less extensive. The Miata shows itself clearly. The seats are with Manager Upholstered in red and have a black stripe in the middle. And also the Door panels are designed accordingly. The steering wheel also got a Mitsuoka emblem and nothing has changed under the hood.

Since the roadster only weighs around 1.130 kilograms, the driving performance is more than sufficient. The special copy, which by the way is built in 2019, will be available from today (February 2th to February 14th) sold as part of a lottery for "Japanese".
