After Ford revised the compact delivery Transit and the Ford Tourneo Connect last year, the Welsh car refiner now shows MS-RT a variant that makes the staid van an absolute highlight. The competitor of the VW Caddy is becoming increasingly popular with parcel delivery companies, and the MS-RT Transit Connect is likely to be at the top of the company car's wish list. The practical truck received a comprehensive aerodynamic kit and even chic alloy wheels and lowering are included. But in turn. The tuner features a large apron with powerful air intakes and integrated front spoiler on the Ford Transit Connect, and a black grille with a design reminiscent of the Mustang. The side part is supplemented with sporty sills and also at the rear a lot has happened.

Sporty appearance of the MS-RT Transit

There is a sporty roof spoiler at lofty heights and, as an absolute highlight, a modified rear apron with indicated exhaust air openings on the right and left as well as an integrated diffuser. A stainless steel sports exhaust system with two tailpipes on the right and left is embedded in the apron, which surprisingly does not look exaggerated. And that also applies to the built-in wheelset from OZ. The presentation vehicle stands on 18-inch OZ light alloy wheels in a multi-spoke design and bronze color and is fitted with Michelin wide tires. The wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch by lowering it by approx. 30 mm. With small details such as the MS-RT lettering on the sills and in the air inlet of the front apron as well as the slightly darkened rear lights, the sporty appearance is impressively rounded off. But MS-RT has also taken on the interior.

Here you can install a sports steering wheel with carbon applications on request and there is also a leather-Alcantara equipment. Only the performance changes nothing. It remains with the 1,5-liter turbo diesel with 120 PS and 270 NM which can be ordered either with an automatic or a manual manual transmission. MS-RT limited the small Ford transporter Transit Connect to only 40 copies and as far as we are aware, all of them receive the exclusive gray livery. The MS-RT Transit Connect is available in the summer of this year and, if required, above the limited launch version, a further small series production might be possible. If we receive timely information on further details, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to.
