Although the new generation of the VW Passat (B8) has been available for just under three years, there is not much to do with Wolfsburg's long-running favorite, especially with regard to tuning. We are looking forward to seeing the Bavarian tuner MTM engine technology Mayer has accepted the Passat and conjures up proud 2.0 PS & 280 NM from the 350 TSI CJXA with standard 350 PS & 425 NM torque and thus promotes the B8 into a completely new performance region. In addition to the increase in performance, there was also a set of 20 inch Bimoto rims in plain silver and in conjunction with the optional R-Line aerodynamic package, the entire setup looks extremely sporty and yet the Passat retains a large dose of understatement. If we get more information about any further modifications to the Passat B8, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. These are the changes to the VW Passat B8 Variant:
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
- 20 inch Bimoto rims
- Performance increase on 350 PS & 425 NM torque
