At the beginning of 2019, the Russian tuner MTR Design has a subtle one Body kit for the Porsche Cayenne the current PO536 generation (Successor to the Type 92A) presents. This was faster than some established European Porsche tuners but at the same time also at its high level. And almost 1 year later, in January of this year, there was the body kit for the Cayenne as a coupe. And on request as Widebody Variant with attached extensions for the fenders. The attachments were discreetly integrated into the body and with fine carbon fiber applications based on the modified aprons at the front and rear. An all-round successful aerodynamic kit that only underlines the basic shape of the Cayenne and does not completely change it.

Widebody variant for the Cayenne SUV

And now the widebody variant has also been made suitable for the Cayenne as an SUV. Basically, the components are identical to those for the Coupe. The visually dynamic variant, with the roof line sloping more sharply than the Cayenne, is based on the modular longitudinal system of the VW platform, which the Audi Q8, Bentley Bentayga and VW Touareg III also use. The components on the Porsche SUV, especially on the dark exhibition vehicle, appear a bit more discreet and reserved than on the SUV coupe. Here, too, the ABS aerodynamic kit with elements in fine carbon fiber can be seen and here too the larger tailpipes with carbon sheathing of the new rear silencer can be seen in the rear diffuser. Apart from the MTR lettering on the tailgate, the Cayenne seems otherwise unchanged.

Wheel arches with carbon wheel arch extensions

The wheelset is original Porsche and is amazingly compatible with the widened fenders all around. Incidentally, the attachments are made entirely of carbon and replace the factory extensions of the Cayenne. Some of the carbon is painted in the body color. With a high probability, track plates were also installed to bring the wheelset a little further outwards and to fill the wheel arches optically more. More information is missing at the moment. With the widebody variant, MTR once again shows impressively that the components from Russia do not have to hide behind the German competition, and only in terms of registrability could it be difficult in European regions. By means of an individual entry, however, there should be a possibility to be legally traveling on German roads with an MTR body kit. If we receive timely information about further changes to the MTR Cayenne SUV, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
