Is this the ultimate dwarf rebellion? A Honda S660 with race parts from Mugen. Outwardly, the dwarf is now making a super athlete. The extremely cool kei roadster Honda S660, which competes with the Daihatsu Copen on the Japanese market, is the epitome of a sporty kei car for many JDM fans and is extremely popular when it comes to kei car tuning. Of course, Honda's in-house tuner Mugen also knows that, and has now equipped the little one with various race parts. Regardless of whether it is front flaps, side skirts or a carbon cover for the rear engine, Mugen is padded and not spilled. A large fake air inlet on the front hood, which was designed in a carbon look, should of course not be missing, because the Honda enthusiast can never get enough of carbon and sporty ingredients. Gray painted aluminum rims in 15 & 16 inch format and sports tires from Yokohama as well as a large, eye-catching rear spoiler, which was also kept entirely in carbon look, round off the ultra-sporty exterior of the little speedster. It is almost irrelevant that the standard taillights have been replaced by gray clear glass taillights, which are a bit reminiscent of Lexus models from bygone times.

Extremely sporty even inside.

With so many modifications to the body, it is of course not far-fetched that the interior has also been optically brought up to scratch. The most conspicuous are the tight-fitting racing bucket seats from Mugen, which have found their way into the small S660, and look very similar to racing sports to match the exterior. In addition, a sports steering wheel flattened at the bottom with red decorative stitching was installed, which is intended to further improve the handiness of the rear-driven corner robber. It was supposed to be the highlight of the car, but in my opinion the camouflage floor mats overshot the goal, because the carbon look of the vehicle and the bucket seats do not match the military look of the floor mats at all. Otherwise, Honda's in-house tuner Mugen pulled out all the stops and set up a small sports car at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2020, which doesn't have to hide from any vehicle in terms of body and interior tuning.

Unfortunately not officially available in Europe.

The Honda S660 is unfortunately not officially available in Europe, and a gray import is not cheap due to the currently very strong yen rate. You have to expect around 25.000 - 28.000 euros if you want to put this little speedster in the garage. Unfortunately there is still no information about the prices of the Mugen parts and whether they could be legally installed in Europe. If we receive timely information about further changes to the tuning dwarf, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
