Mustang Mach-E GT widebody "Shorty" - why not?

So far, the Mustang Mach-E GT has not been able to convince the Ford fan base. Die-hard Mustang fans, in particular, are not very enthusiastic that the electric SUV variant from Ford has to bear the "Mustang" label. But if you are particularly interested in the top variant GT Performance (comes in 2021) at the start should quickly be convinced of the opposite. And after looking at the trademark rights "Model E" Elon Musk has extremely annoyed the trend is likely to continue with a good number. Because the Mustang is a real alternative to the Tesla. What the iconic sports car from 1964 is supposed to be in the crossover, however, does not really open up to us.

Is it the striking bonnet, the broad shoulders and the three-part taillights? Perhaps! But how does that get along with the fact that the “sports car”, whose name alludes to the speed of sound, is limited to 180 km / h? Questions after questions ... Couldn't you have done it like the graphic designer Abimelec Design? Powerful optics and then maybe just a V8 BiTurbo under the hood! It could all be so easy. But what exactly has he done and could the changes already give a first look at possible accessories for the Mach-E? We believe YES. Abimelec Arellano affectionately calls his vehicle "Shorty" and, in addition to a completely new paint job, has installed a significant lowering and a set of Volk Racing Motorsport rims. But we especially like the changes to the bodywork.

Grille with classic Mustang look

For example, the vehicle was fitted with a grille with a classic Mustang look, which, however, is completely closed, just like the original. After all, the electrically powered Mach-E does not need traditional cooling. In addition, the front spoiler is slightly enlarged and the front apron has been revised in general. It looks more aggressive and apparently has even larger air openings. On the other hand, nothing has changed at the rear if you ignore the darkened reflectors in the rear apron. If we receive other pictures or other renderings of the Mustang Mach-E in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
