The Porsche 356 presents itself as a delicate little car with a shape that more or less resembles an inverted bathtub. Based on the principles of the VW Beetle, the vehicle from the pictures had no more than 95 HP available for decades. But the special specimen now houses a Tesla drive unit with impressive 636 PS under the sheet metal while still maintaining the appearance of the original. The vehicle is from North American EV (NAEV), and in our opinion the EV Restomod has by no means lost its soul through electrification. Firstly, the impressive key data speak for themselves, and secondly, no V12 engine was removed from a Ferrari 250 GTO. Of course, tastes differ and EV restomods are definitely not the right choice for everyone.
Porsche 356C as electric mod
NAEV's conversion is bespoke and the vehicle has been fully restored. The 636 hp are powered by a 32 kWh battery pack, and to keep the power on the road, NAEV has installed some 911 chassis parts and a Wilwood sports brake system. The interior features hand-stitched nappa leather upholstery, brushed nickel details, and the vehicle's exterior impresses with its particularly clean body, which is typical of the 356C. And finally ... Can you do it! If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
