Extremely strong - 750 PS Nissan 370Z Nismo to SEMA 2019

The Japanese manufacturer Nissan gives full throttle on the last day of the SEMA 2019. After this Kicks Battle Dwarf and the mighty Desert Runner the Nissan Motorsports Tuning Department is now showing a modified 370Z Nismo as the “Z1 NISMO Time Attack project”. The vehicle is completely prepared for use on the racetrack and is therefore only equipped with a single seat. He should go to Global Time Attack racing season 2020 go to the start and is in cooperation with the tuner Z1 Motorsport emerged. In addition to the already mentioned single seat (OMP HRC-R Carbon with Nismo harnesses) according to the FIA specification, there is still a complete racing roll cage in red in the cabin and also the vehicle battery is installed in the cabin. A digital display sits behind a quick release OMP sports steering wheel with yellow 12 clock mark and the gearbox is a huge lever connected.

special touchpanel in the middle

A special touchpanel in the middle regulates all systems of the 370Z and there is nothing more to be said about the cab. Apart from the Spartan dashboard and some indispensable utensils for motorsport, nothing is left of the production vehicle. And even on the outside hardly anything reminiscent of the series. The 370Z received a huge body kit with huge front spoiler, new front apron with central air opening, hood with air vents and many small canards to tiny rear-view mirrors. And the rear is completely redesigned. The 2020 370Z NISMO body got a crazy huge rear spoiler and also an equally large diffuser in the apron. The real highlight, however, is under the hood. Here works a heavily modified 3,7-liter VQ-V6 engine that brings incredible 750 horsepower (559 KW).

under the hood - Garrett GTX 3076 Turbo

The power leap is made possible by a Garrett GTX 3076 turbocharger, special pistons and connecting rods, and of course the intake and the complete cooling system have also been redesigned. Incidentally, the unfiltered soundscape of the HKS sports exhaust system escapes via a side-pipe system on the left side in front of the rear wheel. Power transmission is handled by a sequential 6 gearbox with the HGT Precision shifter mentioned above, and of course the 370Z only has rear-wheel drive. Meaning, especially the rear 18-inch-Rays-Motorsport rims and their Yokohama tires are probably brought to the absolute limits again and again. Also fitted is a coil-over suspension optimized for the Global Time Attack, a steering system that allows for extreme steering angle, and a large Brembo sports brake system with perforated brake discs and many Nismo racing parts. We are sure that we will hear a lot from this vehicle throughout the year 2020. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report.
