Custom Nissan Fairlady Z Proto at Tokyo Auto Salon!

After more than a decade, the new generation of the Nissan fairlady z, known outside of Japan only as "Z“ is known, revealed. The vehicle, which is expected to go into production in spring 2022 and then hit dealerships as a 2023 model, continues Nissan's long sports car tradition. As is well known, his ancestor still traded as Datsun 240Z, and turned the sports car world upside down in the early 70s! At that time, Japanese automobiles were still scorned and not taken seriously, but the legendary 240Z proved the automotive know-how of the land of the rising sun. Today, well-preserved examples of the 240Z can fetch high six-figure sums at automobile auctions, because classics from Japan are among the favorites of the oldie scene. But now we come to Nissan Fairlady Z Proto, whose design and finish is inspired by the vintage car, and which will now make its debut at the Tokyo Auto Salon in 2022.

Orange sports coupe with black accents!

The single piece, specially designed for the most famous and popular tuning fair Asia was created, is a tribute to the legendary Z432 version of Datsun's first sports car. The name "432" is a cryptic designation, where the "4" stands for four valves per cylinder, the "3" for three carburetors and the "2" for two overhead camshafts. Next to his Painting in orange, those with black Accents comes up, the sports car has a shared one front Grill, which is clearly reminiscent of the 240Z and subtle fender flares all around. When Rims Nissan deliberately chose retro wheels with a gloss black finish and a seven-spoke look for the Fairlady Z Proto Concept, which resemble the rims of the Z432 of the 70s.

became Tubes with white Markings raised, which bear the lettering "Nissan Z". A fixed one rear wing, which is kept extremely discreet and comes along in the style of the seventies, is also on board the one-off. We are curious to see whether the homage to the Z432 will result in a sports package for the new 2023 Nissan Z, which is subject to a surcharge, or whether it was a one-off pointer. Many Nissan fans would probably like the idea to result in an equipment variant that can be ordered as normal.

A 3-liter V6 biturbo heart beats under the hood!

We have no information that the six-cylinder engine with 405 hp and 475 Newton meters maximum torque, has been revised. Thus, the performance should have remained untouched. For the Series Z are both a Six-speed manual, as well as one Nine-speed automatic available with paddle shifters on the steering wheel, and the power is always delivered to the Rear wheels guided, because there is no all-wheel drive option. Unfortunately, we do not know which gearbox is installed in the homage. When it comes to driving performance, the Nippon sports coupe knows how to shine by being in under 5 seconds rushes to country road speed 100 and only at 250 km/h electronically limited.

Our Conclusion About the Nissan Fairlady Z Proto Concept:

A fascinating sports car whose starting point is already a treat! Too bad that the Nissan Z will only be available as a gray import in Germany and Europe in the future. Only Japan, the US, and possibly China and Australia will enjoy receiving units of the vehicle. We have included a picture gallery at the end of the article. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
