AutoTellus, a popular YouTube channel, recently released a video about a special Skyline GT-R that's got fans excited. The featured example is a 1998 Skyline GT-R R34 driven by KnightsbridgeQatar was made available. Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34)

Under the hood, the Skyline hides the well-known 2,6-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder RB26, which in this case delivers an impressive output of 600 hp - 480 hp of it at the wheel. Numerous upgrades and adjustments were made to achieve the performance made, including Garrett Twin Turbos, an ethanol injection and a suitable chip tuning. Other modifications include different camshafts (Stage 1), a GTR Tomei fuel pump, HKS drive shafts, 24 new valves, 24 upgraded valve stem seals and a Race metal head gasket.

Performance is aided by a high quality cooling system consisting of a lightning intercooler and intercooler pipe kit. The 1050 cm³ Race injectors, the HKS fuel distributor and the N1 oil pump ensure optimum fuel supply and preparation. The RB26 engine was also fitted with a CP piston kit, Bridgeway Race connecting rods, ACL bearings and an ARP bolt kit.

Left-hand drive & 6-speed manual gearbox

The heart of the R34 Skyline GT-R is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox fitted with an ARP dual plate clutch and ARP flywheel highway bolts. The result is breathtaking acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and a top speed of over 300 knots. The driving dynamics of the vehicle are improved by an HKS sports suspension and glossy black Nismo T8 wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Incidentally, braking is handled by a high-quality Alcon brake system with golden brake calipers and slotted discs.

With the impressive performance and only subtly flashy looks, this modified GT-R is a jewel in the world of performance cars. The technical specifications are a clear demonstration of the potential of the GT-R. Furthermore, the successful optics show that no detail has been overlooked, from tailor-made performance parts to small optical adjustments. As a left-hand drive, it is also a rarity among the skylines. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
