Legends never die: 2001 Nissan Skyline R34 V-Spec2!

John Beesla comes from Scotland UK and is the proud owner of this super rare 2001 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R VSpec II in beautiful Bayside Blue. Under the hood is the legendary R33 GT-R engine (RB26DETT) which has only been slightly revised for the newer R34. This is joined by the Super-HICAS all-wheel steering and this specimen was only crowned with the anniversary models "GT-R V-spec II Nür" and the "GT-R M-spec Nür" whose names are reminiscent of the Nürburgring. But even without the RB26DETT engine in the N1 motorsport version, this vehicle is an absolute highlight. The reason is the dreamlike state and also the countless modifications, which we can only partly mention here. The R34 received the Nismo body kit with R-Tune all around front apron and carbon splitter and the wheel arch are from Nismo.

Mines carbon spoiler extension

There were also small carbon ganador outside mirrors and something has also changed at the rear. The large fixed factory rear spoiler and a subtle mines carbon are particularly striking here Rear spoiler extension had received. And of course we also have to address the beautiful two-piece CCW Forged Wheels wheelset. It shows itself with a silver rim star and chromed rim beds and in particular the golden screw connection is an eye-catcher. By means of the Meister-R coilover suspension, the wheelset sits absolutely precisely in the wheel arch and at the same time the R34 is given contemporary driving behavior. And a lot has happened under the hood. Here the majority of the components come from the tuner H.K.S. and worth mentioning are the evc boost controller (additional instrument), the blow-off valves for the turbos, the titanium downpipe or the so-called HKS premium suction kit.

The HKS premium suction kit is a tuning kit for the intake and in combination with other components such as a polished turbocharger tube or a greddy Intercooler the result is approximately 450 HP. And considering John's second vehicle in the form of a +700 PS R35 GT-R, this is understandable and sufficient. The R34 is an absolute exotic and should convince as a complete package and not as a PS monster. That this vehicle has won countless awards (Scottish car show 2018/19, Scottish performance show, Cleanfest 2019, Aberdeen performance show 2019 etc.) has come in, should not be a surprise. If we receive timely information on further changes not previously mentioned, there is of course an update for this report.
