With the founding of Z1 Off-Road, Z1 Motorsport has founded an independent specialist department for off-road vehicles. This was commissioned to design a special trailer hitch for off-roaders and to present it at SEMA in Las Vegas, Nevada. Z1 is well-known for its preference for helping Nissan models with sophisticated tuning. Not surprisingly, that a Nissan Titan 2019 was selected for the auto show and in cooperation with Chuck Beck originated. And typical Z1 Motorsport is the result huge and one of the highlights of the past SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas.
Payload apparently almost without end
Almost everything is duplicated on this Nissan Titan Pickup. A double cabin offers plenty of room for the occupants and so that the trailer load may be as high as possible, the pickup was a Zwillingsbereifung with American Force double wheels donated at the rear axle. Thus, the focus of the tuning project is clear: a truck created for work with high payload and maximum trailer load. An 3 inch custom lift kit from ICON Dynamics and the 19,5 dual wheels with Toyo M920 tires at the rear are the most obvious changes. The powerful wheelset will now send with 8 chrome plated bolts thanks to matching adapter plates held. For this purpose, the Nissan NV rear axle was modified, whereby the standard titanium differential was retained. On the inside of the frame now the forced displaced leaf suspension is attached, so that the twin wheels have enough space and could be perfectly fitted. The entire widening of the rear part of the vehicle is so well done that only the second look reveals the overall massive changes. The finish is stylishly elegant with a dominant black metallic, contrasted with Nismo metallic accents in shades of gray. Dark headlights from the Midnight Edition were also installed, which supports the noble look. The combination of attractive livery and bodywork makes this titanium look even beefier and more powerful.
Smaller tuning measures
In addition, additional LEDposition lights mounted on the roof, also on the fenders behind or on both aprons as Z1 LED side markers, And especially the Rough Country Heavy Duty Apron the focus is also on the front. It is completely new and made of metal. In addition she comes with a central LED light bar and also right and left are further LED lights installed. And laterally, there were new running boards for easier entry. At the rear, the taillights have been darkened and a discreet Hammerhead Flush Mount rear apron installed to underline the evil look. And of course, such a powerful projectile also comes with a befitting motorization. The Nissan Titan 2019 is powered by the Cummings 5,0 liter V8 turbodiesel. The successor to 2020 will come with a 5,6 liter V8 petrol engine.

The tuning specialist does not specify the modifications actually made or gives exact performance figures. But it was shared that the engine was trimmed to more power which was achieved, among other chiptuning with EZ Lynk tuner, a Mishimoto sports exhaust system and an AFE Air Intake system. In addition, now a much higher trailer load is possible, at the same time the fuel consumption has been optimized. How much power the standard 310 PS Cummins turbo diesel brings to the road, remains unclear. And the topic of saving fuel should probably have been rather secondary. Only the in-house nickname at Z1 off-road for the Nissan Titan with twin tires was with Butch Johnson stated, but without any further explanation.
