As is a successful tradition at Ferrari, there is also an open version for the 812 series, the GTS. The twelve-cylinder front-engined sports car, modernly equipped with an electrically retractable hardtop, can be customized exclusively at NOVITEC, the world's leading tuner for the racing cars from Maranello. The extensive program includes aerodynamic components in carbon fiber, tailor-made high-tech forged wheels that were developed in cooperation with the American manufacturer Vossen, an increase in performance to 618 kW / 840 PS, high-performance exhaust systems in various designs and every last detail tailored to the customer's wishes coordinated interior.

The NOVITEC designers give the Spider an even sportier appearance with carbon fiber parts. When developing the components, the focus was of course not only on exciting looks: The development of the parts is based on extensive wind tunnel tests, which further optimize the driving stability of the sports car. In order to further minimize the lift on the front axle, the standard apron is upgraded with the front spoiler lip. There is also a cover for the central air inlet, the two flaps of which extend over the side air inlets. This upgrade not only gives the 812 a more aggressive front view, but also optimizes driving stability at high speeds.

three-part spoiler lip at the rear

As an aerodynamic counterpart for the rear, a three-part spoiler lip was developed as a spoiler lip and a strikingly profiled carbon upgrade for the bumper. The NOVITEC side skirts calm the air flow between the front and rear wheel arches and make the open car appear even sportier. The carbon covers for the exterior mirrors and the covers for the side air outlets behind the front wheel arches round off the modified side view. The two air outlets on the bonnet complete the racing look.

The forged wheels specially developed for the 812 models in cooperation with Vossen also played a decisive role in the exciting appearance of the Ferrari refined by NOVITEC. To further emphasize the wedge shape of the open two-seater, three tailor-made wheel / tire combinations with different diameters on the front and rear axles were developed. All NOVITEC forged rims are available in a variety of colors and with three different surface structures, standard, polished or brushed.

The Ferrari 812 GTS in the attached photos rolls on NOVITEC NF 10 rims in sizes 10Jx21 at the front with 275/30 ZR 21 high-performance tires and 12,5Jx22 inch rear-axle wheels with 335/25 ZR 22 tires. The wheels with five filigree double-spoke pairs are produced by US high-end producer Vossen using state-of-the-art forging and machining technology. With the indicated central lock, the NOVITEC NF 10 wheels transfer the racing legend from Ferrari to the street sports car.

The NOVITEC sport springs lower the Ferrari approx. 35 millimeters. The lowered center of gravity makes the handling even more agile. In order to be able to overcome obstacles on the road such as speed bumpers or steep parking garage ramps without any problems, NOVITEC offers hydraulic height adjustment for the front axle. At the push of a button in the cockpit, the front can be raised around four centimeters and lowered again by pressing a button again or automatically when a speed of 80 km / h is reached.

V12 with 840 PS and 751 NM torque

Even an open super sports car can never have enough power. That is why NOVITEC engine technicians are working on an increase in performance for the 6,5 liter V12 four-valve naturally aspirated engine. With the NOVITEC High Performance exhaust system in combination with sports catalysts, the output increases to 618 kW / 840 PS at 8 rpm. At the same time, the maximum torque increases to 750 Nm at 751 tours. This catapults the open car from 7 - 300 km / h in just 2,8 seconds. The top speed increases to 0 km / h.

Of course, the NOVITEC high-performance exhaust systems not only offer performance optimization, but also a particularly exciting sound. They can be combined with 110 millimeter tailpipes that are adapted to the rear contour and are optionally available in polished stainless steel or coated in matt black. The NOVITEC exhaust systems for the 812 are optionally available with or without sound management via exhaust flap control and can also be provided with a 999 fine gold coating that optimizes heat dissipation.

Exhaust - up to eleven kilograms less weight

If the variant is chosen from the INCONEL, which is also used in Formula 1 for exhaust systems, up to eleven kilograms can be saved compared to the standard system. NOVITEC also offers exclusive refinement for the cockpit. The owner of the Spider can have his interior upholstered in practically any imaginable color using the finest leather and Alcantara.
