NOVITEC gives the Ferrari SF90 Spider 1.109 hp!

816 kW / 1.109 hp system output, reaching 2,4 km/h in just 100 seconds, efficient aerodynamics and spectacular looks: With a sophisticated refinement program for the Ferrari SF90 Spider, NOVITEC once again underlines its status as the world's leading refiner for the noble sports cars from Maranello. NOVITEC took on the challenge of helping a modern super sports car with a plug-in hybrid drive achieve even better performance: For the four-liter V8 biturbo combustion engine, the engine technicians developed special maps for engine management and a high-performance exhaust system with metal catalytic converters. This combination achieves 80 kW / 109 hp additional power. In combination with the three electric motors, a system output of a massive 816 kW / 1.109 hp is achieved.

This means that the open two-seater accelerates from 2,4 – 0 km/h in just 100 seconds. The top speed is over 340 km/h. The NOVITEC carbon upgrade for the body, together with the 21-inch light alloy wheels, which were created in cooperation with Vossen, gives the mid-engine sports car an even more spectacular look. As is well known, you can never have too much power in a sports car and so NOVITEC also developed a performance upgrade for the Ferrari SF90 Spider with plug-in hybrid drive. The focus of the work was on the V8 with two turbochargers. In complex tests, new maps for injection and ignition as well as the electronic boost pressure control were developed, which are fed into the engine management of the two-seater via a NOVITEC N-TRONIC module per cylinder bank.

The developers recognized further potential in the exhaust system: The standard catalytic converters can be replaced with specially developed 100-cell metal elements that optimize exhaust gas cleaning. They ensure increased performance just like the meticulously tuned NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system. High-temperature thermal insulation reduces temperatures in the engine compartment, which also contributes to improved engine performance. The versions with 999 fine gold coating are particularly efficient in terms of heat dissipation and of course also visually appealing.

Of course, attention was paid to an exciting engine sound during construction and tuning. The SF90 owner has the choice between variants with or without electronic sound management through exhaust flap control. In order to further enhance the rear view, NOVITEC also offers 112 millimeter tailpipes with carbon covers. The combination of all NOVITEC high-performance components gives the combustion engine 80 kW / 109 hp more peak power and a torque increase of 118 Nm. With the 654 kW / 889 hp at 7.300 rpm of the tuned combustion engine and the three electric motors, the system output is 816 kW / 1.109 hp.

only 2,4 seconds to 100 km / h

The hybrid sports car tuned by NOVITEC accelerates to 2,4 km/h in just 100 seconds. The 6,5 mark is reached after just 200 seconds. The top speed increases to over 340 km/h. At these speeds, aerodynamics play a crucial role. That's why the NOVITEC designers developed spoilers in the wind tunnel that further optimize driving stability.

All parts are made of visible carbon, which also gives the Ferrari a thoroughbred racing look. At high speeds, additional downforce is generated on the front apron with the central NOVITEC spoiler and the side attachment parts. The carbon flaps, which direct the wind past the front wheel cutouts, provide a streamlined finishing touch. The ducktail design spoiler and diffuser at the rear ensure excellent aerodynamic balance.

Carbon fiber from the NOVITEC manufactory provides further spectacular highlights on the SF90 Spider: The front hood can be optically upgraded with two panels for the lower air outlet and a cover in front of the windscreen. The NOVITEC Race fenders with their air outlets on the top not only give the sports car a thoroughbred racing look: they also evacuate the air heated up by the front brakes out of the wheel houses more quickly. The side view is also extensively modified by NOVITEC: This includes not only the carbon side skirts, but also the covers for the side mirrors and the panels on the windows. The NOVITEC air guide elements in the ventilation openings behind the doors optimize the supply of fresh air to the engine.

perfect sight carbon elements

The NOVITEC designers' attention to detail is rounded off by tailor-made visible carbon elements for the engine compartment and its hood, as well as the lining for the luggage compartment in the vehicle nose, which is made from the same material. Of course, NOVITEC also offers exclusive alloy wheels for the Ferrari SF90 Spider. The American high-end manufacturer Vossen, who manufactures these wheels using state-of-the-art forging and machining technology, was won as a supplier.

The NOVITEC NF10 wheels not only impress with their five filigree double spokes and the hub cover with a central locking look: In the dimensions 9.5Jx21 on the front axle with 255/30 ZR 21 tires and 12Jx21 and 325/25 ZR 21 at the rear, they fill the available space in the wheel arches perfect looking. Alternatively, the NOVITEC range for the SF90 Spider also offers other exclusive rims with a choice of 20 or 21 inch diameters.

Further visual and driving dynamics fine-tuning can be carried out with the NOVITEC sport springs. They lower the hybrid Ferrari by 30 millimeters at the front and 25 millimeters at the rear. It's not just the look that benefits from this: the lowered center of gravity also makes handling even more agile. Also in the program is a front lift system, with which the vehicle nose can be raised by 40 millimeters at the push of a button in the cockpit in order to be able to overcome obstacles or ramps in parking garages more easily. NOVITEC also customizes the interior of each Ferrari SF90 according to the customer's wishes. There is leather and Alcantara in practically every color, which are precisely processed in a variety of designs.
