1.033 PS - NOVITEC refines the Ferrari SF90 Stradale!

With the new SF90 Stradale, Scuderia Ferrari not only made itself a present for its 90th birthday, but also raises the “plug-in hybrid electric vehicle” principle to a thoroughbred super sports car level with a combination of combustion engine and three electric motors. NOVITEC is the world's leading refiner for the racing cars from Maranello and of course now also took on the challenge of making the SF90 Stradale even more dynamic and exclusive. In the first step, the performance of the V8 biturbo is further optimized with a NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system and metal catalytic converters. This increases the system output of the hybrid sports car to 760 kW / 1033 PS. The maximum torque increases to 858 Nm.

While further performance enhancements and a carbon aerodynamic kit are already in development, optics and handling can already be optimized with high-tech forged wheels in 20 and 21 inch diameters and sport springs. Exciting sound and a further plus in performance are the salient features of the first NOVITEC upgrade for the hybrid drive of the SF90 Stradale.

For this, the engine technicians of the German tuner developed an elaborately coordinated high-performance exhaust system with 100-cell metal catalytic converters and two 112 millimeter stainless steel tailpipes with carbon covers, which also enhance the look of the rear end.

The NOVITEC system optimizes the exhaust system, which allows the four-liter eight-cylinder with two turbochargers to exhale more freely. In addition, the fully thermally insulated system reduces the temperature in the engine compartment, which also helps to optimize performance. A further improved heat dissipation can be achieved by the optionally available coating with 999 fine gold. NOVITEC offers the exhaust system in different versions with and without electronic sound management through exhaust flap control. This also includes a version made of INCONEL, the same, particularly light material from which the exhaust systems of the Formula 1 Monoposti are made.

But the performance optimization is even more impressive. With the NOVITEC system, the turbocharged V8 produces an even superior 574 kW / 780 hp at 598 rpm instead of the standard 813 kW / 7 hp. The maximum torque of the combustion engine increases from 750 to 800 Nm at 858 tours. Of course, this also has an effect on the system performance of the SF6 Stradale, which increases to 100 kW / 90 hp. This means that the mid-engine sports car continues to gain momentum and catapults itself from a standing start to 760 km / h in just 1 seconds. The top speed increases to over 033 km / h.

Rims in NOVITEC NF 10 design

Another focus of the first NOVITEC steps to make this Ferrari even more dynamic and exciting is the wheels and chassis. For the design and manufacture of tailor-made wheels, the German refiner again cooperated with Vossen, the leading American producer of high-tech forged wheels, for this super sports car. Thanks to state-of-the-art machining technology, it was possible to design wheels in the NOVITEC NF 10 design, which make perfect use of the available space in the fenders of the SF90 Stradale. As a contrast to the black exterior color, these rims were painted in the color "Bronzino", one of a palette of a total of 72 colors from which NOVITEC customers can choose for their wheelset.

With their five filigree double spokes, the NF 10 light alloy rims are among the lightest of their kind in this king-size dimension. In the attached photos, the two-seater is equipped with a combination of 9.5Jx20 wheels on the front with 255/35 ZR 20 tires and 12Jx21 with 325/35 R 21 on the rear axle. The different diameters on both axles emphasize the wedge shape of the Ferrari even more. Matching this, the NOVITEC sport springs lower the vehicle by 30 millimeters at the front and 25 millimeters on the rear axle. A measure that has a positive effect not only on the look, but also on handling thanks to the lowered center of gravity.

At the customer's request, NOVITEC also refines the cockpit of the Italian two-seater.

Just as diverse as the color selection for the NOVITEC wheels is also the color palette for an exclusive NOVITEC interior in leather and Alcantara in practically any desired color.
