NOVITEC has been one of the world's most renowned refiners for the world's most exclusive automobiles for decades. In addition to Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Tesla, the Maserati brand is also the focus of the German company. NOVITEC now also offers exclusive options for the new MC20 mid-engine sports car. Engine tuning for the V6 biturbo to 523 kW / 711 hp and 818 Nm maximum torque is just as much part of the portfolio as high-performance exhaust systems up to the super-light INCONEL version with 999 fine gold coating.

The NOVITEC designers have made the exciting look of the two-seater even more spectacular with visible carbon aerodynamic components, high-tech forged wheels with a diameter of up to 21 inches and sport springs. At the customer's request, NOVITEC can also tailor the cockpit of the Maserati MC20 to the individual wishes of the customer down to the last detail.
The three-liter six-cylinder with two turbochargers offers an excellent starting point for powerful tuning. The NOVITEC engine technicians developed various performance enhancements for the MC20, which awaken the reserves in the engine. For this purpose, two NOVITEC N-TRONIC modules are adapted to the electronic engine management of the Maserati in a plug-and-play process. They feed in special maps for injection, boost pressure control and ignition, which give the sports car a significant boost in dynamics. As an optimal supplement, NOVITEC offers precisely tuned high-performance exhaust systems in various versions. The sports silencers allow the V6 to breathe out more freely and also give it an even sportier sound. In order to further optimize performance, NOVITEC also offers even lighter and more efficient 100-cell sports catalytic converters.
All exhaust components are encased in high-temperature thermal insulation that reduces engine bay temperatures. The NOVITEC exhaust systems, which are also available with active sound management via exhaust flap control, are available in either stainless steel or the particularly light INCONEL used in Formula 1. Optionally also with a 999 fine gold coating, which further optimizes heat dissipation. In order to enhance the look of the rear as well, the exhaust systems can be combined with the NOVITEC carbon/stainless steel tailpipes with a diameter of 100 millimeters, which are beveled to match the rear contour.
8,4 seconds to pace 200 km / h
The combination of modified engine control and NOVITEC sports exhaust gives the six-cylinder a significant boost in performance: This achieves 59,6 kW / 81 hp more peak power and a maximum torque that is 88 Nm higher. The V6 biturbo with NOVITEC tuning delivers an impressive 523 kW / 711 hp at 7 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 400 Nm between 3 and 000 rpm. Of course, the performance also benefits from this: After just 5 seconds, the tuned two-seater is already 500 km/h fast. After 818 seconds, the mid-engine car is already traveling at 2,8 km/h.
The top speed is over 325 km/h. On the road, the NOVITEC performance increase is noticeable not only through the even sportier driving performance, but also through an even more direct response and even more powerful pulling power. Of course, with such a fast car, it's not just the exciting looks that play a dominant role, but above all the aerodynamic efficiency. Extensive wind tunnel tests were carried out for this purpose. The NOVITEC aerodynamic components are produced in high-gloss sealed visible carbon, which complement the standard carbon fiber elements.

The NOVITEC front spoiler lip not only gives the mid-engine sports car an even more distinctive face: it also reduces lift on the front axle, which further improves driving stability at high speeds. In order to generate even more downforce at the rear, the NOVITEC designers modeled a rear spoiler in a duck-tail design. The racing look for the MC20 is completed by visible carbon inserts for the front hood and the air deflectors for the engine intakes at the rear. The NF10 wheels, which were developed in cooperation with Vossen, also contribute to the sophisticated NOVITEC design. The American high-end rim manufacturer produces them using state-of-the-art forging and machining technology.
With their five filigree double spokes, they not only refine the vehicle design, but also offer an optimal combination of lightweight construction and strength. They were designed in such a way that they not only optimally fill the available space in the wheel arches: The wedge shape of the MC20 is even more emphasized by the mix of different diameters at the front and rear. 9Jx20 wheels with 255/35 ZR 20 high-performance tires are used on the front axle. At the rear, 325/25 ZR 21 tires are used on 12Jx21 rims.
the interior can also be refined on request
This makes the handling even more direct and sporty, which can be further optimized with the NOVITEC sport springs, which lower the two-seater by around 25 millimeters. At the customer's request, NOVITEC can also refine the interior. With the highest level of precision craftsmanship, exclusive full appointments are made from the finest leather and Alcantara in any desired color.
