Novitec N-Largo: open V12 sports car based on Ferrari 812 GTS

For several years now, NOVITEC has been building spectacular super sports cars for automotive connoisseurs all over the world under the N-LARGO label. The latest work by the German tuner is a top-class open twelve-cylinder bolide based on the Ferrari 812 GTS, which is being built in a limited edition of only 18 cars. The exciting NOVITEC N-LARGO carbon designer suit makes the two-seater 211 centimeters wide. The aerodynamics were trimmed in the wind tunnel for maximum efficiency. Under the wider fenders on the front and rear axles there is space for extra-wide NOVITEC NF 10 NL high-tech forged rims in 21 and 22 inch diameters on the front and rear axles, which can be fitted with high-performance tires up to size 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear. NOVITEC not only awards the N-LARGO the title "eye catcher", but also makes it one of the fastest open sports cars in the world: the sprint to 100 km / h takes just 2,8 seconds, the top speed is 345 km / h.

Further options are a sports suspension with front lift and extravagant interior finishing of the highest quality. As has been a successful tradition in all NOVITEC N-LARGO projects for years, this wide version was also developed in cooperation with Vittorio Strosek. Over the past four decades, the German designer has created countless body modifications for the most exclusive sports cars in the world, thus collecting enormous know-how in this area.

As with the 812 Superfast, the N-LARGO body for the GTS also impresses with its massive appearance. All parts are made of light but high-strength carbon. In doing so, emphasis was placed not only on spectacular styling, but also on excellent surface quality and fit.

Fender flares should not be missing

Perfectly curved fender flares, which are seamlessly connected to the standard body, make the Spider a total of 14 centimeters wider. Newly modeled fenders, which completely replace the standard parts, make the vehicle seven centimeters wider on the front axle. The NOVITEC N-LARGO side skirts ensure an aerodynamically optimal transition between the extensions at the front and rear and a pronounced wasp waist. As can be seen on this vehicle, they are also available in a carbon fiber version. Like a current Formula 1 monoposto, this wide version also has vertical barge boards behind the front wheel cutouts and in front of the rear wheel arches, which direct the airflow to the rear.

The NOVITEC N-LARGO aprons at the front and rear have been adapted precisely to the shape of the wider fenders. The front apron not only gives the twelve-cylinder car a particularly striking face, it was also optimized in the wind tunnel in such a way that, together with the front spoiler in carbon fiber, it also reduces lift on the front axle. In order to generate more downforce at the rear, a spoiler has been integrated homogeneously into the N-LARGO wide version, which stretches like a pronounced rump over the two rear extensions and the hood. A diffuser has been integrated into the new apron, which connects perfectly to the wider fenders on both sides. There is also a rear apron attachment, also made of carbon fiber, which perfectly encloses the four 110 millimeter tailpipes of the NOVITEC sports exhaust system.

Further, emphatically sporty accents on the body are set with tailor-made exposed carbon elements on the bonnet, side mirrors and the surrounds of the rear lights.

The spectacular look of this super sports car naturally also includes extra wide rims and tires. Vossen, the American manufacturer of high-end alloy wheels, produces tailor-made wheels for the N-LARGO exclusively for NOVITEC, which make optimal use of the space in the larger wheel arches. The NOVITEC NF 10 NL design with five filigree double spokes and an indicated central lock is created in this manufacture with the help of the most modern forging and processing technology. The 12.5Jx22 rims on the rear axle were designed so that their wheel spider is extremely concave. The size 335/25 ZR 22 is used as the perfect tire. To emphasize the wedge shape of the sports car, the 10Jx21 format with 275/30 ZR 21 tires was chosen for the front axle.

The lowering by approx. 35 millimeters, which NOVITEC implemented with special sport springs, also played a major role in the exciting look. As an option, the refiner also offers a front lift system with which ramps in parking garages and speed bumpers in the city can be better overcome. At the push of a button in the cockpit, this hydraulic height adjustment raises the front axle by approx. 40 millimeters. After overcoming the obstacle, you can return to the normal level at the push of a button. However, this also happens automatically when a speed of 80 km / h is reached.

6,5 liter V12 naturally aspirated engine | 345 km / h top

With the new N-LARGO based on the Ferrari 812 GTS, NOVITEC not only offers a fascinating look. There are also reserves in the 6,5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that are awakened by the tuner's engine technicians. A high-performance exhaust system was developed for this, which elicits 40 more horsepower from the engine. The NOVITEC exhaust system is available in different versions. All variants are aerodynamically optimized and completely thermally insulated, which can be further optimized with an additional 999 fine gold coating.

The NOVITEC high-performance exhaust systems, which are optionally available with or without sound management via exhaust flap control, of course not only offer performance optimization, but also a particularly exciting sound. They can be combined with 110 millimeter tailpipes, which are optionally available in polished stainless steel or coated in matt black. For N-LARGO owners who also want to optimize the power-to-weight ratio, the system made of particularly light INCONEL is ideal. This high-tech material is also used in Formula 1 for the construction of exhaust systems.

With the NOVITEC High Performance exhaust system in combination with 100-cell sport catalysts, the output increases to 618 kW / 840 PS at 8.750 rpm. At the same time, the maximum torque increases to 751 Nm at 7.300 tours. This catapults the open car from standstill to 2,8 km / h in just 100 seconds. The top speed increases to 345 km / h. Of course, NOVITEC also offers exclusive interiors for the open-top N-LARGO, according to customer requirements. With excellent workmanship, the cockpit can be redesigned in any desired color using the finest leather and Alcantara.
