To this snow white Defender and a classic Black there is now a real splash of color in the repertoire of the tuner OCC (Osprey Custom Cars). Namely a short 90s version in a striking sky blue. And the vehicle is this time not a so-called restomod conversion, but a really well-made one Replica. So a completely new vehicle with the look of the classic Land Rover Defender 90. And the conversion has been very successful as we find and almost indistinguishable from the original. The replica was built from scratch by Osprey Custom Cars at the request of a single and probably well-heeled customer. The owner wanted a "Classic, but modern and unique roof“, Which was also installed in the color brown.

with 6,2 liter LS3 V8 engine

The vehicle has a completely galvanized chassis like the current vehicle, there was a special chassis and also the cooling system and the exhaust system had to be completely manufactured by the individual piece. And then of course there would be the engine. However, this is not an in-house creation, but the decision was made in favor of the Corvette 6,2-liter LS3 V8 with 430 PS and 575 Nm torque, which is already known from other conversions. It is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission and of course the Defender replica also has full four-wheel drive for off-road use. And if you take a closer look at the body, you will hardly be able to make any difference to the model from the last century. The exterior fully reflects the look of the original Defender. It is light blue with the brown top mentioned and has some Kahn design components such as the 18-inch alloy wheels with coarse-grained off-road tires. There was also a widebody kit, new headlights with special blinds and a typical Defender steel bumper with additional LED lights.

lots of leather and modern technology

There were also massive steps, a new rear apron and of course a fully equipped interior. Here you can see a specially made roll cage, there are four individual seats in combination with brown leather upholstery with diamond seams and small components such as the aluminum buttons, the modern push-button gear lever for the automatic on the individual center console with cup holders or the touchscreen infotainment- Systems with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity essentially round off the noteworthy details inside. Even though the vehicle looks like a restomod, it's a really well made replica. What do you think?
