The potent Oettinger VW Golf 400R based on the current VW Golf 7 R comes compared to the production model with a much sharper look and complete aerodynamic kit. The body kit consists of a concise front spoiler with aggressive front splitter, sporty side skirts, a rear skirt attachment that is anything but inconspicuous and a large roof spoiler. The team of Foliatec equipped the 400R with an original, blue-yellow, police foil adhesive and the specialists from Hella installed a signal system on the roof and flash beacons front that spray a certain authenticity.

The highlight is of course under the bonnet. Here comes the well-known 2,0 liter turbo gasoline engine from the VW Golf R, which in the Oettinger VW Golf 400R has 400 instead of 310 hp. At the same time, the maximum torque goes from 400 Nm to a whopping 500 Nm at 3.200 rpm. high and in combination with the 7-speed dual clutch transmission ensures that it goes from 3,6 to 0 km / h in just 100 seconds (series 4,6 seconds). Incidentally, the maximum speed in the 400R is up to 290 km / h. Enough to catch up with most vehicles and certainly much better than any series patrol car in the form of a VW Golf or VW Passat. But the 400R from Oettinger is not only fast in a straight line. Thanks to the coilover kit and Oettinger RXX rims in 8,5 x 20 inches with 235/35 tires, it lies like the proverbial “board” on the road and is extremely dynamic.

And so you can hear that too, the tuner incorporates an in-house sports exhaust system with 4 rear mufflers, complete with flap control and 90 millimeter tailpipes for a unique soundscape. To ensure that the load stops again, there is a high-performance brake system on the front axle with 380 x 32 millimeter-sized and perforated brake discs and sports brake pads.
