Traditional tuner OETTINGER sharpens the VW Golf 8 R!

With the first pictures and a video clip, traditional Volkswagen tuner OETTINGER is increasing the anticipation of the brand new aerodynamic program for the Golf 8 R (MK8), currently the fastest and most powerful member of the Golf family. The easy-to-install and registration-free kit from RIM in OEM quality includes a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser wing, downforce flaps for the front fenders and two roof spoiler variants and can be pre-ordered now.

OETTINGER and Volkswagen's Golf. Both are closely linked historically. For the 20th birthday of the Golf R, the traditional tuner from Friedrichsdorf is launching its customization program for the most powerful model from Wolfsburg. The first pictures show a lowered Golf 8 R with the tailor-made OETTINGER aerodynamics package on in-house forged wheels that weigh eight kilograms. All aerodynamic components are made of high-quality RIM in original equipment manufacturer quality, are easy to assemble and registration-free.

These include a front spoiler (790 euros) and downforce flaps (350 euros) for the front fenders. Both will reduce the lift in the Golf 8 R. The refiner sets accents on the flanks with a striking side skirt set (725 euros), which is attached below the standard skirts. The OETTINGER range also includes a rear diffuser wing (495 euros). This has been specially designed for R models without a trailer hitch.

also available for the Golf GTi

Golf 8 R with or without the R performance package? The tuning experts at OETTINGER know that both can be sharpened optically. For Golf R models with the R-Performance package, the Friedrichsdorf-based company also offers a stylish additional wing (425 euros). Models without the R-Performance package can optionally be upgraded with an impressive OETTINGER roof spoiler (425 euros), which is already available for the basic GTI model.

available from the 1st quarter of 2023

The complete OETTINGER Golf 8 R aerodynamic package will be available in the first quarter of 1. The primed version costs 2023 euros. The kit can also be ordered in glossy black for a surcharge of 2.785 euros. Pre-orders are now being accepted. As part of a promotion until October 1.090, 31, the traditional tuner is granting a 2022 percent discount on the list price for the complete OETTINGER Golf 8 R aerodynamics package.
