2021 Officine Fioravanti Ferrari Testarossa Restomod!

We certainly cannot stop the trend towards electromobility, and actually we don't want to either. However, we here at tuningblog are of the unanimous opinion that the combustion engine is far from being obsolete and should be further developed at the same time as the Stromer. But who are we ... All the same! In any case, we're delighted every time we see a classic from days gone by that has been modified, but just CAN'T has been converted into a Stromer, but remains true to the good old combustion engine. Not that the vehicles from Monday, Electrogenic, Everrats & Co. wouldn't be cool, but the emotions of a roaring 7-liter V8 or a screeching V12 will probably never get across. And even crazy acceleration values do not change that! At least that's how we see it ... And why are we telling this? Because here comes the ultimate proof! Of the Officine Fioravanti Ferrari Testarossa.

Officine Fioravanti Ferrari Testarossa

That was already announced in May of this year and is now finished. And it can hardly be distinguished visually from the series, but at the same time clearly stronger as the base vehicle, which was built from 1984 to 1996. Because during the series maximum 390 PS and 490 NM from the 4943 cm³ 12-cylinder 180 ° V engine (1984 – 1991 Feet), is the Officine Fioravanti variant clearly stronger.

He is namely from brilliant 510 PS and 599 NM fires and thus even clearly surpasses the 512 TR (428 PS / 490 NM built 1991–1994) and even the F512 (440 PS / 500 NM built 1994 – 1996 Feet). And all of this at only approx. 1.375 kg empty weight (more on this further down in the text). According to our Power-to-weight calculator has the tuned classic per horsepower only 2,70 kg to haul. A current Ferrari Portofino is practically on a par. And in any case, it does not trigger the emotions of this modernized super sports car from the 1980s.

Maximum 324 km/h

The Officine Fioravanti Testarossa retains the legendary 4,9-liter V12 under the sheet metal (ka boxer, but a 180-degree V-engine), but by means of classic modifications, which are currently not yet known, the performance rose to the ones mentioned 510 PS This not only improves the acceleration on country roads but also those top speed. From 295 to an impressive 324 km / h (201 miles per hour). But the Officine Fioravanti Testarossa has much more to offer than just additional performance. Fioravanti built a Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and also one traction control is there now. To do this, you use the Suspension electronically adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers and the classic is now delayed with a Brembo racing braking system with slotted discs.

optically you hold back completely

From the outside, however, you can't really see the Restomod conversion, as the Testarossa hardly differs from the original. The most noticeable change is probably the new one wheelset. The factory-made 16 inch rims with tires in the format 225/50 & 255/50 have disappeared and have been spinning ever since 17 Zöller There are even in the front and rear wheel arches 18 inch aluminum each with Racing tires. However, the rims keep the classic Cromodora Daytona Star optics and also the Central locking is still there. And despite all the changes, the classic "easier“Than the original. To be precise 130 kg. Unfortunately, we currently do not know what has been done to get so much weight out of it. However, we assume that the body parts have been partially replaced (possibly made of carbon, you can see in the video below) and other "typical" Lightweight modifications like bucket seats & Co. from.

Interior with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth

And the new one certainly has a share in the underweight Interior. The factory plastic parts are by means of Aluminum parts replaced and even amenities like one Sound system with Apple CarPlay are included. But at the same time you have the old one car phone retained but modified it to now means Bluetooth to work. In our opinion, the Testarossa Restomod by Fioravanti is the perfect mix of classic looks, modern conveniences and a lot of performance. We hope that it will not remain a one-off.
