We agree, you can not get more out of the Mercedes G-Class! From the South African tuner RACE! SOUTH AFRICA just got us pictures of a completely rebuilt Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG which is a complete ONYX G7 Wide Bodykit from the tuner Onyx Concept had received. No component remains untouched and the G-Class just looks extremely brutal and brawny after the conversion. The body kit includes a much wider front bumper which has LED daytime running lights installed in the huge air inlets. Right & left, the bumper adapts to the extreme flared fenders, which in turn merge seamlessly into huge side skirts with steps and attachments for the doors.
The mask, including headlights and Mercedes star, is completely new and, including the carbon applications, even lets a bit of dynamism shine through. The highlight in front is definitely the brand new bonnet which has a large power dome, as well as a central & side air inlets. And also in the rear part it continues unabated because here the side walls also get massive attachments and thus grow significantly in width. A seamless transition is guaranteed in the completely newly developed rear bumper and a highlight is the fact that the integrated diffuser does not contain "any" exhaust system. Why is that? Mercedes delivers the G63 AMG with so-called sidepipes that find their exit in the rear part of the side skirts and definitely ensure an unmistakable sound.
The body kit includes a striking Ducktail similar rear roof spoiler and also an attachment for the front of the roof, including additional lights. One of the changes made by Onyx is an 23 inch large multi-spoke wheel set, which, with its high-gloss black finish and clearly visible red brake calipers, fits perfectly with the overall visual appearance. As far as we know, the engine also received a small upgrade because here you installed a chip tuning software that should certainly provide for a performance beyond the 600 PS brand.
Regarding the white outer skin, however, we are not entirely sure at the moment whether the body has been completely painted or whether it is a film. Whatever it is, especially in connection with the completely darkened windows, the whole thing looks great. The G63 AMG is definitely from RACE! SOUTH AFRICA one of the most spectacular vehicles we have seen so far in 2017. If we get more information about the modifications to the G-Class, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. - possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
