Yesterday we have you from the French tuner Shiftech Lyon the material moisture meter shows you the  BMW 1er F20 114i presented with phenomenal 224PS & 306NM torque. The phenomenal are not but not the 224PS, but the fact that these were created from a small N13B16 - 1,6 l engine that only delivers 102 PS & 180 NM torque from the factory. An increase in performance of over 100% shows impressively what modern engines are capable of today. And just a few hours later the next vehicle arrives from France! This time it is a white Opel Astra H 1.7 CDTI with standard 125 PS & 280 NM torque. Shiftech also installed its own software here, and the result can also be seen here with 154 PS & 321 NM torque. Of course, the increase in performance is not as enormous as with the above-mentioned 1 Series BMW, but the age of the vehicles and the fact that the 1 Series is a gasoline engine and the Astra is a diesel engine don't really make a comparison of the two possible.

By the way, the Z17DTR / A17DTR engine (and the vehicle) built in the Astra comes from the year 2009 and canpurely from the numbers) now even keep up with the brand new 160PS & 350NM strong 1.6 BiTurbo CDTI, from the current Astra K. The increase in performance will be noticeable for the driver in every area and especially the increased torque should ensure that one or the other mountain can easily be taken a gear higher. If we get more information about other modifications to the Astra H from Shiftech, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
